| In the technology for indoor air purification contained photocatalysis, activated carbon adsorption, anion, plant purification and so on,plant purification technique was the best technique that is ecological, environmental protection, durable and cheap among them. Because found there is fragrant smell in the trees of Taxus chinensis var.mairei, researched and analysed the volatile constituent from the fresh branches and leaves of T.chinensis var.mairei, which in order to explore the ability to cleanse and improve the air in house of their potting, by circumfluence extraction with petroleum ether, GC-ms determination, analysing and authenticating in database of mass spectrum NIST,etc, and try to find the material basis that indoor air could be changed better. Studied yet the ability of T.chinensis var.mairei absorbing benzene series(BTEX) and the eco-physiological responses after that suffered the stress injury from three kinds of BTEX, which was benzene, ethyl benzene and m-xylene, by simulation indoor spaces,QC-1S gas sampling device, GC, UV spectrophotometer and so on. Provided the physiological ecology basis for T.chinensis var.mairei pot culture applys to purification of the air indoor life space and methodological basis for the screening of the plant to purify indoor air.The results of analysis and determine the nature by GC-MS test and database of mass spectrum NIST showed, there are 140 kinds organic compounds include esters,alcohol, alkene, etc, in the material extracted with petroleum ether from the fresh branches and leaves of T. chinensis var. mairei. 43 kinds of Those would be the material basis of T. chinensis var. mairei to volatilize the beneficial gas molecules into indoor space.The test results of the benzene series concentration in the air of the simulations room there were T. chinensis var. mairei pot culture and BTEX showed in 24 hours, T.chinensis var. mairei could continuously absorb benzene, ethylbenzene and m-xylene,and the absorbing rate to different kinds and concentration BTEX was different. 24 h continuous sampling test results showed, which absorbing rate was benzene >m-xylene>ethylbenzene in kinds. On concentration, to 1500 μg·L-1, 700 μg·L-1, 180μg·L-1of benzene in the simulation space,which absorbing rate respectively was67.69%, 86.05%, 86.18% in 24 h.,and to 650 μg·L-1, 220 μg·L-1, 180μg·L-1 of ethylbenzene, respectively was 62.12%, 53.36%, 47.15% in 24 h, and to 470 μg·L-1,170 μg·L-1, 120 μg·L-1 of m-xylene, respectively was 81.64%, 75.19%, 74.72% in 24 h. In addition, to 220 μg·L-1, 180 μg·L-1 of ethylbenzene in the simulation space,showed these were continuously absorbed in 16 h, but when the concentrations were dropped to 103115 μg·L-1 at 16 h, the absorbing rate did not increased again,or little, might be ignored after that.The testing results of the content for chlorophyll(Chl), malondialdehyde(MDA) and soluble sugar(SS) in leaves tissue of T. chinensis var.mairei that was in the air there was BTEX showed, T.chinensis var.mairei would suffer the physiological harm by BTEX in air. When the concentration of benzene, ethylbenzene, m-xylene in each simulation space respectively was 180μg·L-1, the reducing rates of Chl content in the leaf tissue of T.chinensis var.mairei respectively were 7.86%, 6.45% and 17.09%, the increasing rates of MDA content respectively were 12.5%, 5.56% and 91.43%, the reducing rates of SS content respectively were 1.15%, 6.84% and 6.91%, and the degree of physiological harm by 3 kinds BTEX from strong to weak was m-xylene>ethyl benzene>benzene. The detection results of change rate of Chl, MDA and SS contents in the leaf tissues when T.chinensis var.mairei potting was placed in the simulation room there were three kinds of BTEX with different concentrations showed,which was exclusive of 1500 μg.L-1 benzene, those contents begun reversing24 h or even earlier, indicated that T. chinensis var. mairei had the ability to withstand and restore the physiological hurt of BTEX when the concentration of BTEX in air was not too high,which was under 800μg·L-1.Thus, T. chinensis var. mairei not only had the function for absorbing indoor harmful gases, but also had the ability withstanding the injury for indoor harmful gases material, and had the material bases volatilizing beneficial ingredients into the room. Therefore, T. chinensis var. mairei culture had very fine character for excellent indoor green plants to purify and optimize indoor air. But based on the results of ethylbenzene after 16 hours,which was in holding pattern T. chinensis var. mairei absorbed ethylbenzene, should also consider plant diversity when use plant to purify indoor air. |
