By arranging the paper of forest fire,scholars can not make a clear standard of drying time and different drying conditions,seriously affecting the process of experiment.This paper has researched the drying time of the different parts(bark,leaves,litters)of the different species:coniferous species(Pinus koraiensis,Pinus sylvestris,larch)and broad-leaved trees (Juglans mandshurica, Fraxinus mandshurica, Quercus mongolica,Phellodendron amurense,Betula platyphylla)in 105·,in different initial water content (set the five initial water content:100%,80%,60%,40%and20%),under the condition of different time-lags(1-h time-lag,10-h time-lag,100-h time-lag).Save time for follow up drying-process and provide basic data for future field work. Through the analysis, It is concluded that fuel of different initial water content and time-leg has a different drying time. As for the condition of same initial water content, the leaves and litter have a similar drying-time, the drying time of the bark is far longer than leaves and litters. The drying-time is longer if the initial water content is higher. The drying-time of coniferous forest is longer than hardwood forest. When the moisture is larger than 100%, the drying-time’s order is:Pinus koraiensis>Pinus sylvestris>larch> Juglans mandshurica> Fraxinus mandshurica> Quercus mongolica> Phellodendron amurense>Betula platyphylla. The drying time and its influencing factors were analyzed by orthogonal experiment. Results show:(1) For coniferous tree species, Pinus koraiensis of 100-h time-lag has a longest drying-timet, the drying time is 28.75h;(2) For broad-leaved tree species, Juglans mandshurica of 100-h has a longest drying-time, the drying time is 22.5h;(3) The order of influencing factors is:time-lag condition> plant part> plant variety. Through the research of this paper can provide indoor on the drying time parameter selection and the scientific basis for the future development of fuel load, fire behavior, fire ecology research.
