In Ningxia Hedong Ecological Horticulture Test Center, the mixed planted orchard of 1.67hm2 with apple, peach, plum, apricot and pear is selected, related investigation is done regarding harmful bird species and damage characteristics of local orchard, its damage transfer characteristics are defined; mixed planted orchard of 1hm2 with different plant and row spacing like 2m×3m,3m×4m and 3m×5m is selected, related investigation is made on the influence of different planting densities on bird’s pecking fruits; the mixed planted orchard of 0.2hm2 with identical planting density is selected, the experimental variety is Fuji, which is done with non-bagged treatment and bagged with different fruit bags, investigation is done on the influence of fruit bagging on bird’s pecking fruits, the influence on bird’s pecking fruits from different orchard management modes is analyzed. Finally, further research is conducted on the basis of current four bird repellent technology, besides, the trial test of bird expelling by remote-controlled unmanned vehicle is developed. Via comprehensive comparison of control efficiency, technical input cost, loss recovery benefit, etc., the optimal bird expelling technique suitable for the area is screened and popularized. The specific research results are as follows:1. Main harmful birds in orchards of Ningxia area include passer montanus, pica pica, crow and turtledove. Different birds have different activity routines, the activity of passer montanus is more in the morning than that in the evening, while while activities of pica pica is just the opposite. Crow foraging behavior is mainly concentrated in the noon, dove mainly concentrated in the morning and afternoon. The early-maturing variety in the planting area is seriously influenced by the bird harm, and birds will transfer its harm along with successive maturity of other varieties of fruits.2. The orchard in different management methods have different effects on birds plucking the fruit. The more planting density of the fruit tree, the greater harm the birds made; the birds harmed more on unbagged fruit trees than the bagged ones and hurted more on the fruit with bagged double layer inner black bages than bagged double layer inner red bages.3. Under the condition of identical variety, the colored anti-bird net barrier technology in four bird repellent technology is featured by the best effect, longest durable effect and best stability in bird trouble prevention. Take the early-maturing variety for an example, the reduction degree of fruit by pecking rate under the colored anti-bird net barrier technology is the largest, which is 97.36%. The second one is biological repellent, and its reduction degree of fruit by pecking rate is 88.46%; the third one is the ultrasonic bird repellent, and its reduction degree of fruit by pecking rate is 42.07%; wind-driving driving device of birds is featured by the poorest expelling effect, shortest durable effect and poorest stability, and its reduction degree of fruit by pecking rate is 39.90%.4. Early maturing variety, Medium Maturing and late maturing varieties are victims, and in order to reduce the damage degree.5. Bird expelling by remote-controlled unmanned vehicley is next only to the repellent effect of anti bird netting repellent. Besides, bird pest control effect is better in the test area.
