This experimental was performed to study the effects of the different concentration of water soluble humic acid fertilizer on the growth and the quality of leaf lettuce and head lettuce. The purpose is to choose the suitable concentration for the growth and quality of leaf lettuce and head lettuce by to treated the soil, seeds and seedlings separately.1. The water soluble humic acid fertilizer can improve the germination rate of lettuce seeds. Two kinds of lettuce in the experiment by the 1:500 concentration is the highest rate of emergence. The emergence rates of E2 and F2 were 98.67% and 99%, that increased by 19% and 18% respectively.2. The water soluble humic acid fertilizer influenced the physical characteristics, the chemical characteristics and nutritional ingredient of rhizosphere soil.The soil moisture content of E2 And F2 with concentration of 1:500 increasing 25.51%,26.6%.3.The water soluble humic acid fertilizer improved photosynthctic characteristics of lettuce. E2 and F2 significantly promoted contents of chlorophyll and Pn of lettuce leaves.4. The water soluble humic acid fertilizers improved the morphological indicators and the production of leaf lettuce and head lettuce. The plant height of E2 and F2 was improved 36.59% and 33.06%, and the production was 31.35% and 30.85% more than CK1 and CK2.5. The quality of the lettuce was improved by using water soluble humic acid fertilizer. The content of Vc was increased by 53.82% and 56.89% compared with CK1 and CK2.It is important that it would promote the growth and quality of leaf lettuce and head lettuce with 1:500 water soluble humic acid fertilizer in the process of production of lettuce.
