| Microbial additives for the production of silage including lactic acid-producing ability of Lactobacillus, Enterococcus, Pediococcus, et.c., they have a variety of promoting the role of silage fermentation. They can be used as silage fermentation accelerator and added to the silage, which can effectively improve the quality of silage, animal performance, and increase economic benefits.In this research, the initial screened 15 lactic acid bacteria were isolated from the high-quality corn stalks silage and the commercialized corn stalk silage agents.They are identified as Lactobacillus plantarum,Enterococcus faecium,Pediococcus acidilactici. Pediococcus pentosaceus and cellulase-producing bacteria (Bacillus subtilis) strain were selected and mixed as a silage agents(Mixed Agent).Finely,three silage agents of Mixed Agent,a commercialized agent of Taiwanyaxin silage agents, Qingbao II silage agent,were used to prepare of whole plant corn silage by film silage method.After 30 days of fermentation,the silage was started to feed the ruminants.Quality analysis of the silages were tested and quality analysis.The results showed that after adding of the three agents,sensory evaluation of the silages reached to more than 80 points with fragrant and sour smell,yellow-green color,and fine palatability for animals,achieving the best grade of silage. Adding of Mixed Agent,Taiwanyaxin silage agents,and Qingbao II silage agents could lead to 0.2-0.3pH level lower than without adding of silage agents control group(pH3.81),and there lactic acid content of were 1.67%,1.49% and 1.85% higher than the contral,respectively.As for butyric acid decreased 50% and 75% decreased after adding of Mixed Agent,Taiwanyaxin silage,respectively.When adding of Qingbao Ⅱ,no butyric acid was detected.Further more,adding of silage agents could reduce the protein degradation of the silage,increase their nutrition.Whether or not adding of silage agents could not affect on the recovery of dry mater and crude pritein content of silage,but Mixed Agent could decrease 14.6% of the acidic detergent fiber.Total content of four heavy mentals arsenic,lead,mercury and cadmium meet the standard of feed hygiene.Finally,silages were feeded to fat Luoping yellow goats,results shows that after feeding of silage with non-agent,Mixed Agent and Taiwanyaxin silage agents,adding agent silage could improve the growth performance and growth rate of goats. |
