As we all know, wheat crops have a pivotal position in the world’s economic crops, it is not only the most important food supply, but also an important industrial raw materials. All kinds of analysis and Research on wheat have received much attention. According to the study, microwave remote sensing not only from the limitation of time and weather, is not affected by clouds, fog, rain, snow and other weather, strong penetrating power, which for us to study the wheat has a special significance. When using radar SAR image to observe the situation of crop wheat, we need to study the scattering characteristics. This paper is on masking effect based on, take the study of rough surface commonly used Kirchhoff approximation theory and application in crop research vector radiative transfer theory, from the calculation, a lot of research all over the word, at the end of this paper, we deduce out applicable to wheat model. Through the research for forest classical MIMICS scattering model, adjust measures to local conditions, taking into account the wheat crop in different period of growth, especially in wheat growth period and wheat growth late vegetation structure difference, it means that the early wheat without wheat, and in the later grow into the cooked wheat. Through the experimental study summary, analog simulation model with the results of conventional Michigan (MIMICS) model results and two layered vegetation model inter comparison results and analysis of different polarizations and different bands compared curve trend of the research on the development of rules. Finally the reliability of the simulation model through the provided the basis for the study on the wheat. The main contents of this paper are as follows:(1) Introduced the random rough surface modeling method, on the part of the method of list and control. In these methods, focus to the more classical Kirchhoff approximation theory and shadowing effect corresponding notes.(2) Take the generalized Rayleigh-Gans of which relates to the scattering body corresponding scattering (discoid, needle, ellipsoid field is described, and cylindrical scattering field is solved.(3) The theory of vector radiative transfer is used to establish the model of the late growth stage, and the MIMICS and the modified double layer scattering model are introduced. Through the choice of the parameters involved, we accurately calculate wheat microwave backscattering coefficient, and analyzes the links between the angle and, to simulate a more accurate wheat model makes a contribution, also provides the corresponding theory for the subsequent inversion.(4) In this paper, the simulation analysis of three layer vegetation model, comparative analysis of the model and the MIMICS model, in different bands and different polarization modes, compared to the model, this model proved the reliability.
