In order to reveal the community structure and population regeneration current situation of Quercus mongolica, this paper selected natural secondary forest Q. mongolica community as research object in Saihanwula natural reserve of Greater Xing’an Mountains south hilly area from May 2014 to October 2015. Adopted the typical sample area method, the plant diversity and population seeding bank of Q. mongolica community was investigated and the seeding and spouting was quantitative analyzed after sampling. The results are as follows:There are 15 families,31 genera, and 34 species in investigated site; there are 5 areal-types of the genera-Cosmopolitan, which the most is North Temperate, and 4 areal-types of the species.Perennial herb is on the top position (79.5%) among the life forms of community; the water ecological types of plants in Q. mongolica community are mainly mesophyte. The diameter classes’distribution of Q. mongolica population were the approximate reverse "J" shape curve, which suggested that the forest belongs to mid-maturation forest and means good regeneration. Q. mongolica community has the typical vertical structure, obvious stratification phenomeno; in the Q. mongolica community species richness index(DMa), diversity index(H) and evenness index(Jsw) were showed herb layer> shrub layer> tree layer.Regeneration is good and sprouts and seedlings coexistence in Q. mongolica population; in 2 years to 3 years seedlings translation, the difference between the seedling and sprouts is larger, the seedling most of the deaths, and sprout of about 50% can be normal development.Q. mongolica seedlings with different reproductive modes and morphological analysis results:1-3 years sprouts of stem and leaf biomass of monomer were both higher than the seedlings’,1-3 years the seedlings stem and leaf biomass growth is slow, 1-6 years sprouts stem and leaf biomass growth persistently; 1~3 years seedlings of average leaf number and leaf area were both less than sprouts’, along with the growth of the age, the seedlings a smaller increase in the number of leaves, whereas the leaf number of sprouts showed a trend of obvious rising rapidly, leaf area between different ages fluctuate slightly; through the analysis of 4~6 years average annual growth rate of sprouts are on the rise; as the growth of the age, the difference between the seedlings and sprouts crown volume gradually decreases, there is an upward trend in the seedlings crown volume, and sprouts crown volume is fluctuation in different ages.
