Effect Of Irrigation Quantity And Pruning Height On Kentucky Bluegrass Turf Evapotranspiration Traits

The paper used Kentucky bluegrass(Poa pratensis L.) varieties Katie as a material to explore the effect of different irrigation quantities and pruning heights on the Kentucky bluegrass changes of landscape and evapotranspiration, to find out the rule of Turf evapotranspiration under different lawn mowing heights and different irrigation amount,to understand the using rule of turfgrass in water and then provided reasonable irrigation measures and irrigation time, to breeding drought-resistant varieties according to the characteristics of lawn Turf grass, and ultimately achieve the purpose of water conservation to provide scientific theoretical basis for water-saving irrigation lawn. Results showed:1 Increase in amount of irrigation promotes the increase in plant biomass, and still increase time length of Kentucky bluegrass lawn maintaining landscape in corresponding way. The upper available water irrigation amount limit in Kentucky bluegrass lawns is dry soil moisture 312.52g/kg (relative water content of 85%);when the leaves rolled into a cylinder shape along main vein inside. When color turned into gray-green, landscape effect no longer be accepted,landscape irrigation amount out at lower limit of landscape irrigation omount soil moisture at this time to 90.41±3.38g/kg (relative water content of 24.86%); This study showed that wilting coefficient of Kentucky bluegrass lawn is water content of 57.12g/kg (relative water content of 15.54%).2 Kentucky bluegrass’evapotranspiration is different at different mowing height.The study found that turf evapotranspiration increased, while time length of maintaining turfgrass landscape shorten,when mowing height increases. Lawn mowing height in 3cm are most water saving, most save in evapotranspiration and most length in maintaining time than other lawn mowing heights in five mowing heights.
