Behavioral monitoring may be useful to assess the state of health and comfort of farm animals. The experiment collected 80158 electronic records of Holstein cows in winter included pedometer activity data, milk yield, milk electrical conductivity and milking time. The objective was to use the records to analyze the impact of estrous cycle, parities and lactation days on the activity and the relationship between cows activity, milk yield, milking efficiency and milk electrical conductivity. Based on this, selected 30 Holstein cows with the same parity and the same stage of lactation, recorded the walking activities of Holstein cows and dry matter intake data to analysis the relationship between dry matter intakes and walking activities of Holstein cows. In addition, 24 healthy and high producing cows were also selected in another trial. These 2-5 years old cows were both in perinatal period. Their Body Condition Score were between 3.25-3.75. 24 Holstein cows were divided into 6 groups by limiting dry matter intake. 7 days after delivery, blood samples were collected from tail vein and blood NEFA concentrations were detected. Then conducted the detections of blood ketone in 15 days after delivery. Through a series of experiments, the effect of the walking activities on the recoveries of the Fresh cow was summarized. The results showed that cows daily activities had extremely significant difference among parities(p< 0.01). With the increase of lactation days, cows activities falling. The previous day’s activities plus 110(step /h) to be used as a standard of the judgement of estrus cows. The detection rate and false detection rate of this standard were 91.2% and 5.4% respectively. Under normal circumstances, Holstein cows milk yields increased with the amount of activities. Milk yield and milking efficiency content peaked at 90-110 steps/h of cows activity. There was significant positive correlation between milking efficiency and milk yield(R = 0.992, p< 0.01). Milk yields increased gradually with the increase of milking efficiency. After the conductivity is greater than 10, milk yields and activity quantities were all decreased. Use the milk yield curve with conductivity could to determine the conductivity of recessive mastitis. Holstein cows were positively correlated between feed intakes and activities, increased dry matter intakes with increasing amount of activities. The activities of fresh cows increased with the increase of dry matter intakes. The amount of dry matter intakes affected the NEFA concentrations in the blood of fresh cows. The lower the feed intake, the higher the NEFA concentration in the blood, and the more serious condition of the negative energy balances. Activities of cows with Ketosis were 19.8% lower than healthy cows. As a result, the changes of feed intake and the negative balances of postpartum energy condition can be predicted by the observation of the activity of fresh cows.
