As light is one of the crucial environmental factors for plant growth, closed plant factories control it using artificial light completely. Plant factory light control devices are equipment foundations to realize light environment precise control for plants growth, and to enhance the efficiency of plant production. According to its structural and the light characteristics of LED lamp, the light distribution model and illumination uniformity model of LED plant light source were established. Light distribution characteristics and its change rules of LED plant light source was investigated. With the multiple information fusion of LED photoelectric parameters, structure parameters of the plant light source and light source distance, an optimal illumination region prediction model based on particle swarm optimization (PSO) was established. Meanwhile, through its control test, the lighting distribution characteristics of LED plant light source as well as accuracy and practicability of the optimal illumination region prediction model were accordingly confirmed. And then, a plant factory light control device and its control system based on lighting distribution characteristics of LED plant light source was designed. By means of ANSYS, statics and modal analysis for vital structure components of the plant light control device were carried out, and the structural deformation, stress and strain distribution, possibility of instability were made clear. By obtained natural frequency and vibration mode of the structure, its vibration response under different dynamic loadings were defined. The main work and achievements are given as follows.Considering its structural and the light characteristics of LED lamp, the light distribution model and illumination uniformity model of plant light source combined with red and blue LEDs were established. By means of numerical simulation, light distribution characteristics of the plant light source under different LED lamp density and light source distances were in turn analyzed, subsequently, its change law of illumination uniformity were revealed.According to the illumination distribution characteristics of LED plant light source, the main influencing factors and evaluation method for illumination region superiority were defined, and evaluation function was constructed to judge whether the illumination region is good or not. By means of multi-source information fusion of LED photoelectric parameters, structure parameters of the plant light source and light source distance, an optimal illumination region prediction model based on PSO was established. Through its control test, the lighting distribution characteristics of LED plant light source and its change law of illumination uniformity were orderly verified. Accuracy and practicability of the optimal illumination region prediction model were accordingly confirmed.Aiming at its functional requirements, a plant factory light control device and its control system based on lighting distribution characteristics of LED plant light source were designed. By means of ANSYS, statics and modal analysis for key structure components of the plant factory light control device were carried out, and the structural deformation, stress and strain distribution, possibility of instability were made clear. By obtained natural frequency and vibration mode of the structure, its vibration response under different dynamic loadings were defined.The research of illumination distribution characteristics and its change law for LED plant light source is valuable to design the plant light source and regulate its light environment. The optimal illumination region prediction model based on PSO make up the traditional artificial judgment method, and laid a theoretical foundation of automation control for plant light regulation device. The design and analysis of plant light control device and its control system, provide evidence for optimizing its mechanical structure and system dynamic characteristic, provide some references for realization of plant light control device and its control system.
