Water shortage has been an important issue that is paid attention day by day. Agricultural irrigation water holds a large proportion in the usage of water resource in China. So it has a wide practical significance and great social need for the improvement of living standard and social economic development in our country that the study and application on optimizing the allocation, making full use of water resources in irrigated area.Through the problem of water resources utilization in irrigated area of Pi river in JiangHuai hilly region, the object of the paper is the reservoir group irrigated area in Chuhe River main channel. the main research contents includes the following areas:(1)Collect and neaten geology, geography and hydrology of meteorological data of watershed on DaGuanTang, CaiTang, ZhangQiao irrigated area, understand the existing structure of water resources system and influence factors and mutual relations.(2)Through being familiar with the process of each reservoir irrigation water requirement,water supply and water use, and targeting Minimum of crop water deficit and discarded water, the paper makes up the united scheduling rules of reservoir and build simulation model of water resources system on the irrigation area.(3)With the model, applying the orthogonal experimental design method to optimize the reservoir group of scheduling rules control parameters, the paper get the best rules of water supply.The result of combined optimum dispatching for reservoirs will be harmful to single irrigation system, but effectiveness, guaranteed rate and water efficiency would be improved, water deficit would be reduced for the system of reservoir group. It has practical significance for the water resources optimal management and utilization in irrigated area of Pi river.
