The Research On The Application Of Landscape Plants In Urban Landscape In Henan Province

Henan Province is located in the central region of China. Its climate from the south to the North belongs to north subtropical to warm temperate transition zone climate. It is in between Eurasia and Pacific Ocean. The complex terrain of Henan region, sufficient sunshine, rainfall, and climate are superior to foster good natural environment and biodiversity conservation. There are many kinds of landscape plants, and many special plants in this region. Therefore it will provide enough plants for the research and application of landscape plants in urban landscaping.This paper introduces the definition, function, and type of landscape plants used in Henan and plants that are native to the key research and analysis, using the literature research, field view,questionnaire, data, diagrams, pictures, records, interview experts, summaries of the research methods.According to the investigation of different kinds of green land, such as park、garden、green yards in square, road green space, Greenland belong to units, residents community green land and production green land, and on the basis of outstanding cases of urban greening outstanding provincial and municipal garden city, Garden Township, unit garden, Garden District, This paper researches on these five kinds of green land, its major subject is Xinmi city of Henan province. It took the green rate of city、green coverage and per capita green area as the reference to analysis the landscape plants selection and configuration application.Analysis results: There are many different kinds of plant species in the landscape of Henan region.According to the landscape plant configuration method, such as variety selection, color matching, trim shape, the plants are used in the urban landscape, which provides a rich resources of landscape plants for urban landscape greening. However in practical application, a lot of landscape plants has not been applicated effectively. And now many landscape professionals, especially designers rarely in-depth first-line site, who know a little of the growth habit of Henan area of native trees and plant landscape.They are blindly follow foreign design concepts, the introduction of rare species, resulting in the survival rate is low, a waste of money seriously, lack of regional characteristics and cultural connotation and problems appeared. At the same time, some areas of urban landscaping regulatory mechanism is not perfect, and management and maintenance level of government is low, the lack of garden talent and scientific research strength is weak, resulting in a common urban landscape around the same, the effect is not good.According to the above survey and analysis, the feasibility of proposed solutions, namely toimprove the quality of practitioners, further improve the urban landscape greening maintenance management system, strengthen awareness of landscape plants in Henan Province, pay attention to the plant configuration of the regionality, characteristics and cultural connotation, to plant suitable tree matching a special place, strengthen economic, the integration of science and art, camp. Then it will create the landscape effect of Henan regional characteristics.
