China is an agriculture and grain production country. State grain reserves is the important strategy of national economic security and people’s livelihood. Therefore, The safety of the grain reserves is an important national policy of our country. Package bulk grain storage stacking structure as an effective way to reduce storage or temporary storage, has become an important outdoor storage which is commonly used and will exist for a long time. Currently, At home and abroad for the basic physical and mechanical properties of grain, silo and the mechanical characteristics of building storehouse has a lot, but there has no study about the problem of package bulk grain storage stacking structure mechanical characteristics. In the practical work, heaping package just rely on experience without systematic theoretical research and technical guidance. Therefore, the study on the mechanical properties of package bulk grain storage stacking structure is very necessary. The article will study the grain and package which consist of the package bulk grain storage stacking structure, and make a tentative study about the basic mechanical performance of package bulk grain storage stacking structure. The main work includes:(1) Measure the basic physical characteristics of wheat samples and obtain the moisture content, specific gravity, particle size of wheat and their interactional relationship.(2) Conduct triaxial test on wheat samples and obtain the stress-strain relationship of wheat under different confining pressure and moisture content conditions. Use Mohr coulomb theory to draw the Mohr circle strength envelope and get wheat internal friction Angle φ and cohesion force c. Meantime, analyze the influence about internal friction Angle φ and cohesion force c of wheat under different moisture content and confining pressure conditions.(3) Through the simple design of friction measurement test to measure the coefficient of friction between wheat and package, package and package, package and concrete.(4) Conduct resistance to lateral force loading test on scale of single row package stacking structure by adjusting the load position until around the package stacking structure collapse. Analyze the effect of different load position on the collapse of stacking structure, the displacement-pressure changes of package bulk grain storage stacking structure and other mechanical properties. Use Matlab fitting to simulate the displacement-pressure changes curve and analyze the variation trend about collapse of package stacking structure.(5) Conduct the bulk grain storage stacking structure test, measure lateral pressure and effect of action about wheat to the side wall of stacking structure. According to the televant specification, use the parameters of wheat obtained from test to provide the simplified calculating method of package bulk grain storage stacking structure.
