In this experiment, Qian NO.3 bromus catharticus is used by the control of the treatment to study physiological mechanism on low-temperature tolerance in Wild Bromus Catharticus.And first take the germination test of seeds and determine part of the apparent traits of.Put the two bromus catharticus in low temperature(-5℃) for the low-temperature stress, and take the samples at 0h,2h, 4h, 6h,8h, 10 h and 12 h. Then determined the physiological indexes of wild bromus catharticus and Qian NO.3 bromus catharticus: including relative electrical conductivity, malondialdehyde(MDA), soluble sugar contents, the activities of superoxide dismutase(SOD) and peroxidase(POD). Then find the physiological mechanism on low-temperature tolerance in Wild Bromus Catharticus. The result is as follows:1. Germination energy of wild bormus catharticus is significantly higher than Qian NO.3bromus catharticus. The result indicates that the seeds of wild bormus catharticus have the strong vilablity,and the seeds germinatev will be tidy,and keep the consistency of emergence.2. Under low temperature stress, the relative electrical conductivity in wild bormus catharticus is lower than that in Qian NO.3 bromus catharticus.3. Under low temperature stress of-5℃, the soluble sugar contents in wild bromus catharticus is higher than that in Qian NO.3 bromus catharticus.4. Under low temperature stress, the MDA contents in wild bromus catharticus is higher that in in Qian NO.3 bromus catharticus.5. The activities of SOD in wild bromus catharticus is higher than that in Qian NO.3bromus catharticus.6. The activities of POD in wild bromus catharticus is higher than that in Qian NO.3bromus catharticus.7. The fresh weight and dry weight in overground part of wild bromus catharticus are lower than Qian NO.3 bromus catharticus.This indicates that production performance of wild bromus catharticus is higher than Qian NO.3 bromus catharticus.The results show that the seeds of wild bormus catharticus have the strong vilablity,andthe seeds germinatev will be tidy,and keep the consistency of emergence, low-temperature tolerance of wild bromus catharticus is stronger than that of Qian NO.3 bromus catharticus,and wild bromus catharticus has higher production performance than Qian NO.3 bromus catharticus.
