Cellulosic ethanol is a kind of renewable clean energy which has been widely concerned.According to the national conditions, the development of biomass energy in China should focus on forestry biomass energy. Lignocellulose as raw material to produce cellulosic ethanol is an important form of biomass energy. It is meaningful to research and develop tree species with high fiber quality and high biomass, which promotes cellulosic ethanol industrial development. Acacia is important plantation afforestation tree species in China, Locust forest area covers over 4376hm2 in Luoning,Henan. In this study the second generation Black Locust Plantation in larch plantation of different age of stand were used as materials. This research established the allometic regession of total above ground biomass and each organ biomass of selected species through field survey and analysis in terms of breast diameter, height of trees. Using the method of NREL to determine the cellulose, hemicellulose and lignin content in the different organs. Based on biomass regression equation and Lignocellulose content to calculate Cellulosic ethanol production. The main results were followed:1) The growth pattern of height, breast height diameter(DBH) and stocking volume of Locust in Luoning, Henan Province were researched. The second generation Black Locust Plantation matured in 28 years. The time with high peak of annual growth increment of breast DBH and tree height were the 9th and 18th,6th and 21th year respectively.2) According to this paper, the single tree biomass for locust grandis stands was selected as follows:Wtotai=0.061×(D2H)0.880(R2=0.982).The trunk biomass model was Wtrunk=0.035×(D2H)0.915(R2=0.986);The branch biomass model was Wbreach=0.018×(D2H)0.800(R2=0.871); The leaf biomass model was Wleaf=0.029×(D2H)0.573(R2=0.700).3) Lignocellulose composition in term of locust in different stand ages, including cellulose, hemicellulose and lignin contents, which ranged from 32.52%-38.49%,20.34%-21.94%,19.21%-22.76% in the trunk, which ranged from33.17%-34.95%,20.56%-21.50%,20.94%-24.85% in the branch, which ranged from 16.60%-20.93%,25.02%-28.28%,22.52%-27.29% in the leaf.4) Lignin content was significantly increased with the growth of stand age in the trunk. Cellulose、hemicellulose and lignin production increased with the growth of stand age,and maximal value were 15t/hm2,13t/hm2,22tkg/hm2,respectively.5) In theory, using the age stand of locust forest as raw materials can produce cellulosic ethanol 1.2×106t、4.8×106t、5.6×106t、2.3×107t.
