Based on the field location experiment in upland red soil, the experiments were conducted to study the effects of soil amendments (biochar and calcium peroxide) on organic carbon fractions in Upland Red Soil and aggregate stability with 9 treatments including CK、Ca、Ca2、C1C、C2、ClCa1、ClCa2、C2Cal、C2Ca2.The aim was to screen the best soil amendments and the best dosage, and to provide theoretical basis and reference value for improving the quality of dry land and improving the agricultural productivity. The main results were followed:(1)Application of biochar and calcium peroxide, physicochemical properties of upland red soil have different degrees of improvement and with the increase of amount of biochar, the better effect. The effect of combined application of biochar and calcium peroxide is better than that of single application. With respect to CK, soil bulk density decreased by C2Ca1 treatment(average increase of pH 0.47,0.45). The soil pH value was significantly increased by C1Ca2 and C2Ca2.0.005-0.05mm soil particles were significantly improved, and the C2Ca2 treatment increased significantly(average increase of soil particle content 16.66%).(2)The application of biochar to the dry red soil could increase the level of soil nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium. The content of nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium in soil increased with the increase of biochar. The application of calcium peroxide to the red soil in the red soil could increase the level of soil nitrogen and phosphorus. Moreover, with the increase of the amount of calcium peroxide, the content of soil nitrogen and phosphorus increased. The effect of the combined application of biochar and calcium peroxide is better than that of single application. The application of calcium peroxide can not only increase the content of potassium, but also decrease.Adding biomass carbon and calcium peroxide can improve the yield of sweet potato, and the effect is better than the single application, and C2Ca2 is the most significantly. In the red soil of the dry land, the soil amendments can promote the transformation of small aggregates to the large aggregates in different degree. The effects of both the biochar and the calcium peroxide were better than that of single application, and the single application was better than CK.Compared with CK, the treatment effect of C1Cal and C1Ca2 is the most significantly, and can be improved> 0.25mm 51.08% and 52.07% respectively. In addition to the single application of calcium peroxide, the application of the soil amendments not only increases the content of large aggregates, but also increases the content of organic carbon, especially the content of organic carbon in the large aggregates.Single application of biochar increased the contents of organic carbon in different levels and reserves, but decreased the(3)content of organic carbon in soil. The Treatment of biochar and calcium peroxide significantly increased soil organic carbon content and reserves.(4)The application of biochar can improve the level of soil nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium in the soil, and increase with the increase of the amount of application.Calcium peroxide can improve the nitrogen and phosphorus in the soil, and increase with the increase of the amount of application. The potassium content of dry red soil decreased by the application of calcium peroxide. The effect of the combined application of biochar and calcium peroxide is better than that of single application.Adding biochar and calcium peroxide can improve the yield of sweet potato, and the effect is better than single application, which is the most significant C2Ca2.The results showed that different dosage of biochar and calcium peroxide could effectively improve the physical and chemical properties and the structure of the soil, and increase the activity of the soil organic carbon storage and the yield increase. They all show that the effect of the combined application is better than that of single application, so the application of biochar and calcium oxide is more helpful to the improvement of soil.
