Wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) is one of the major crops for human, It is also the important food crop yield, which plays a very important role in food security in china. With global warming, drought occurrence frequency more and more high, degree is more and more serious, posing a serious threat to our country and the world food production.In order to solve the problem of drought resistance in wheat, except for drought resistance source from Wheat Landraces, we aim to focus on the sources of resistance in wild wheat exogenous species. The Aegilops tauschii Coss is kindred germplasm, genetic improvement of wheat is very valuable and therefore, the excellent characteristics of genetic variation of Aegilops tauschii Coss, better for breeding wheat varieties, improvement of modern varieties of common wheat, to reduce the loss caused by drought, food security has important significance.Using 369 materials of Aegilops tauschii Coss from many places as main object of study.By using the method of water treatment, and use PEG-6000 simulated drought stressand,,The SPSS principal component analysis, comprehensive analysis on Wheat Seedling Stage on screening drought resistance related indicators measured, themethod to make a comprehensive evaluation on the drought resistance of Aegilops tauschii Coss materials of subordinate function value, in order to provide the basis forfurther study the mechanism of wheat drought resistance.The experimental results are as follows:1 The results of principal component analysis showed that:in the 14 drought resistance indexes screened out five categories of indicators, the principal component analysis of the first five principal components accounted for 81.29% of the total variance.Its importance:biological yield> root length, root number> root diameter, root volume> Root-shoot ratio of fresh weight> Root-shoot ratio of dry weight2 The comprehensive evaluation results indicated that intermediate type materials 245, extremely drought resistant materials 9, the rest 115 for non drought resistant materials. The maximum is AS623213 of 0.67 of the,is the strongest drought resistance;the minimum is AS623285 of 0.25, is the drought resistance, in the 369 Aegilops tauschii Coss materials.3 By evaluation of comprehensive ability of Aegilops tauschii Coss for drought resitance,2 low resistance Aegilops tauschii Coss genotypes and 2 high resitance Aegilops tauschii Coss genotypes were screened out, and, they could be utilized as breeding parent for further genetic improvement.The not resistant materials are: AS623285, AS623246, the resistance materials are:AS623146, AS623213. We performed paired hybridization between four materials respectively, the synthesis of the 4 Aegilops tauschii Coss artificial double diploid materials, as well as the four Aegilops tauschii Coss respectively with LANDON and AS2255 hybrid tetraploid wheat, the synthesis of 8 new six hexaploid wheat. The hybrids were grown in field.
