With the economic development of Jiangsu Province, infrastructure construction project is characterized by large density, high speed and various forms. Those construction activities lead to fast growth of the proportion of soil erosion, great disturbance and intensity to the surface of the earth, and big damage and deterioration to the environment, which seriously affected the construction of comprehensive well-off society and have drawn more and more people’s attention and thought. Under such circumstance, it is necessary and urgent to study the soil and water loss characteristics targeted at different type of the construction activities in Jiangsu Province. While recent research on soil and water loss characteristics about different type of construction activities in Jiangsu Province is quite few. The thesis focus on the study on soil and water loss in production of Jiang Su province construction project, to provide scientific basis for the controlling and management of soil and water loss, to provide reference to soil and water conservation review and approval and also an instruction to plan and design soil and water conservation proposal for future Jiang Su province construction projects.This study selected 2006-2011, approved by the Ministry of the 10 class of 191 production projects, carry out statistical investigation and case, establish the database of soil and water conservation construction project in Jiangsu Province, the use of conventional statistical and analysis of characteristics of soil and water loss in production and construction projects in Jiangsu province. Evaluation on production and construction project of Jiangsu province influence soil erosion degree by using the SWII model, and the example of evaluation and project guidance and feedback. Finally, according to the characteristics of soil erosion in Jiangsu Province, summed up the production and construction project of Jiangsu province soil erosion prevention and control measures, and the control effect of the soil and water loss in Jiangsu province were analyzed. The main results of this study are as follows:(1) Soil Erosion Features of Prod uction and Construction Projects in Jiangsu Province:①the quantity of soil erosion in the construction period is 90% of the total soil erosion.②Whether the point or line engineering project unit area is the amount of earthwork are large, more than 1 m3/m2. ③The quantity of soil erosion of per unit area in point-type engineering is 151.37t/hm2 and the quantity of soil erosionper unit area in line-type engineering is 200.00t/hm2.④The quantity of soil erosion and the area in the construction period of point-type engineering have a linear relation (R2=0.9318). The relationship between soil erosion and the area in the construction period of line-type engineering also have a linear relation (R2=0.9439). ⑤The disturbance of soil erosion modulus and per unit area cut-fill volumes of point-type engineering have a linear relation (R2=0.9595). The relationship between disturbance of soil erosion modulus and per unit area cut-fill volumes of line-type engineering also have a linear relation (R2=0.9324).(2) Assessment the soil erosion impact index caused by production and construction projects in Jiangsu province:①SWII used to indicate the influence degree of soil erosion of production and construction projects. The smaller value of SWII indicates that covers an area of and influence scope of production and construction projects is small, low intensity, short duration disturbance, soil erosion caused by the smaller, the greater the degree of recovery; On the other hand, the impact of soil erosion caused by the greater. The production and construction project of Jiangsu province SWII value reaches a maximum of 0.7774. The minimum SWII value is 0.0865. ②10 kinds of production and construction project of Jiangsu province SWII mean value from large to small is as follows:railway, pipeline, the river, road, water conservancy and hydropower, metallurgical and chemical engineering and manufacturing, other power, urban construction, thermal power and transmission class. Their average SWII are 0.4593,0.4319,0.4196,0.4071,0.3223, 0.3134,0.2968,0.2725,0.2712,0.2629.③Fachkind ofproject SWII means can be used as, this kind of prod uction and construction project approval ruler in Jiangsu Province. When a project is lower than the SWII value of this type of project SWII mean, show the influence of soil erosion caused by the project in similar projects, small, can approve the scheme. When the SWII of a project is higher than the value of this type ofproject SWII mean, show the influence of soil erosioncaused by the project in similar projects, large, to a key factor to exceed the standard SWII assessment was improved, optimization design, reduce the value of SWⅡ, reduce the impact on soil erosion of project level.(3) Measure and control effect of soil and water conservation, production and construction projects in Jiangsu Province: ①The Jiangsu production and construction project of soil and water loss prevention with topsoil stripping and soil covering technology, cut drainage technology, slope protection technology, vegetation restoration technique. ②6 indicators of soil erosion prevention and control in Jiangsu Province, different types of production and construction project at the two national standards.③Take Jiangsu province for different categories of construction projects soil erosion amount of soil and water conservation after reduction were all above 90%.
