Effects Of Antibacterial Peptides On Growth Performance And Reproductive Performance Of Jirong Rabbits

Rabbit farming is closely related with the level of nutrition,balanced nutrition can ensure the healthy growth of rabbits, improve the production performance and reproductive performance of rabbits. Antimicrobial peptide is not only a nutritional feed additive, but also improve the immune function of animals, study on the effects of antibacterial peptides on growth performance and reproductive performance of Jirong rabbits, To ensure the health of rabbits growth and development, improve the growth performance and reproductive performance of rabbits is important. In this study, I selected 84 four weeks old male and female healthy Jirong rabbits, divided into six groups according to body weight, half male and half female, the contrast group were fed with basic feed, the antibiotic contrast group added 3mg/kg of gentamicin, the experimental groupⅠ、groupⅡ、groupⅢ、groupⅣ added 150mg/kg、250mg/kg、350mg/kg、450mg/kg antimicrobial peptides. This test measured the the effects of antibacterial peptides on growth performance、slaughter performance、serum biochemical parameters 、 digestive performance 、 and reproductive performance of Jirong rabbits, the results show: Added in the basic feed of antimicrobial peptide can promote the growth of Jirong rabbit,compared with other groups, daily gain increased obviously(P<0.05),feed/gain ratio decreased obviously(P<0.05); the effects of antibacterial peptides on slaughter performance of Jirong rabbits is not too much, just group Ⅲ increased eviscerated slaughter rate obviously( P < 0.05); antimicrobial peptides increased Jirong rabbits’ total protein、 albumin、 globulin unobtrusively(P>0.05),groupⅣ decreased Urea nitrogen obviously(P<0.05); antibacterial peptides increased Jirong rabbits’ nutrient digestibility obviously( P < 0.05); the effects of pregnancy rate and litter size of Jirong rabbits is not too much, primary litter weight, birth weight, full moon litter weight, and full moon individual weight were improved, just group Ⅲ and group Ⅳ increased obviously( P < 0.05). Thisexperiment proved that antimicrobial peptides as a new feed additive can replace antibiotics in animal production, the effect of antimicrobial peptides on the performance index was related to the dosage, the recommended adding amount is350mg/kg。...
