Compared to the sowing of dryland crops, Transplanting have many advantages. Transplant ing can guarantee the survival rate of seedlings, avoid the influence of climate, as well as pests and diseases, and extend the growth period of crops, improve the usage rate per unit area of land, and crops with high yield and stable yield. In 2011, our annual seedling area reached 15 million hm2, corresponding transplanting machine required 1.5 million sets. In addition, the rising labor costs in China in recent years, farming population continues to decline. So the automatic transplanting of dryland crops not only to accelerate the application of seedling cultivation and can bring tremendous overall economic efficiency.At present, semi-automatic transplanting machine that fetching seeding by man and transplanting by machine is mature. However, automatic transplanting machine is still in experimental stages of development, it is by transplanting machine to complete the picking seedling, dropping seedling planting. Study development status of plug seedling transplanter about domestic and foreign, transplanting can be divided into two categories; The first, with independent mechanical and electrical systems, or industrial robot technology, used in automated assembly line seedling transplanting in greenhouse. Second, by implementing organizations taking action of seedlings and the seedlings, at the request of specific trajectory and attitude, Complete the picking seedling with single strains pulling seedlings, in which the most representative non-circular gear of Rotary transplanting mechanism.
