| In order to improve horizon soil nutrient, control water and soil erosion at Xinzhuangzi mining reclamation area, Medicago sativa sowing, Purus frumentum sowing and two kinds of mixed sowing experiments were carried out after four kinds of composts (compost 1, compost 2, compost 3, compost 4) had been used in the reclamation land and soil physical and chemical properties were analyzed after the plant growing season. Compost and forage planting can obviously improve soil physical and chemical properties on the reclaimed land.The contents of Cu, Zn, Pb and Cr did not exceed the national environmental quality standards for soils (secondary),which caused no pollution to environment. From the overall, the content of Cd is within the warning limit. In Xinzhuangzi mining reclamation land, local soil was chosen as the preference without pollution to the environment and coal gangue was chosen as filling material because of its thick covering and no pollution to the horizon soil environment.The treatment which used compost effectively increased soil organic matter, total nitrogen, available phosphorus, by 26%-45%,6%-14% and 138%-359% respectively. The treatments using compost and Medicago sativa planting increased soil water content by 12%-24% and nitrate nitrogen by 210%-338%. Soil total phosphorus was increased 18%-20% by using compost and Purus frumentum planting. Compost and the mixture sowing of Medicago sativa and Purus frumentum increased soil water content and ammonium nitrogen significantly, by 36%-36%,50%-105% respectively.From the evaluation results of the two comprehensive evaluation methods, the use of compost 4 and the mixed-sown combination was considered the best for soil amelioration at Xinzhuangzi mining reclamation area. |
