| The thesis investigated the occurrence dynamic of Gtapholitha molesta Busck in three peach pear growing region in Wuxi, Jiangsu Province, by using oriental fruit moth sex pheromone; illustrated the sex pheromone lure effectively hang time by hanging lures at different times, tested the effects of sex pheromone lure density on control of oriental fruit moth. At last, the thesis evaluated the effects of five low toxic bioinsecticides on control of oriental fruit moth by using tip discount rate and rate of peach bored as two indexes. The results were as follows:In Wuxi, oriental fruit moth occurred five generations, part of the larvae of fifth genereation could develop into adults t before wintering, but could not find a suitable place to spawn and become invalid insect population. However, the situation does not rule out the larvae overwinter of six generations in a high temperatures year.Monitoring data from three growing areas showed that both of overwintering generation adults and first generation adults occurred with one peak. So, the sex pheromone trapping could be used in control of these two generations. However, since the second generation adults occurred, the multiple peaks, which mean field overlapping generations, of population were monitered in following generations. This situation increased the difficulties controling oriental fruit moth. The effect of lure used in the study lasted a 15-day duration in the field, but the lure of quality needs to be improved. Effects of individual batches are instability. Due to the emission velocity of volatile sex pheromone components is relate to the ambient temperature, so in July and August (higher temperatures), the persistence of lure may be shorter. It is recommended to replace the lure trap according to the ambient temperature.Control of oriental fruit moth should be conducted at an early stage. Action should be made when the peak of adult population of overwintering generation or first generation occurred. Ovicide insecticide should be the first choice; due to serious overlapping generations and there always are eggs of oriental fruit moth in field since second generations occurred, egg parasitoids, such as Trichogramma should be to release to control oriental fruit moth in peach orchard. |
