Sulfoxaflor is a new pesticide produced by Dow AgroSciences LLC, Sulfoxaflor can control the pests on farmland, vegetable and fruit. This pesticide is registered in China after 2010. Test code:XDE-208, CAS name:cyanamide,N-[methyloxido[1-[6-(trifluoromethyl)-3-pyridinyl]ethyl] X4-sulfanylidene]. The world rarely reported about this kind of compounds, based on the purpose of scientific research and data acquisition, in the years 2012-2013, we has established the residue analysis method of sulfoxaflor in cabbage and soil, The test site in Changsha, Fusui and Chengde. The main results are as follows:1. A gas chromatography (GC) method was developed, which can analysis the pesticide residue of Sulfoxaflor in Cabbage and soil. The soil samples extracted by acetonitrile, the cabbage samples extracted by the mixture of acetonitrile/water, and use dichloromethane to purify, then determined by gas chromatography-electron capture detector (GC-ECD). The LOD of this method is 2.0×10-11g, so the detection limit was 0.02mg/kg.2. Reseach the residues dynamic of Sulfoxaflor in Cabbage and soil analysis, we found the degradation dynamics of Sulfoxaflor accords with the kinetic equation. The half-life of sulfoxaflor in cabbage in 2012 and 2013 were 2.6 and 5.2d in Changsha, 3.3d and 4.9d in Chengde, and 3.7d and 4.6d in Fusui, respectively. The half-life of sulfoaxflor in soil was 4d and 5.2d in Changsha,3.1d and 4.9d in Chengde, and 4.8d and 4.8d in Fusui, respectively.3.Research the residues dynamic of Sulfoxaflor in Cabbage and soil we can conclude, that the final residue amount of sulfoxaflor in cabbage and soils was all less than residue limits that was estimated by JMPR, so, we can consider the Sulfoxaflor is a safety pesticide.
