Improving rice quality not only can improve the nutritional quality of rice and people’s nutrition,but also can improve the effective substance content of rice, and then increase the production directly. Most appearance quality traits o f rice are quantitative traits, using traditional breeding methods don’t work,while using marker-assisted selection will make brilliant rice quality gene transfer and pyramiding, so as to improve the efficiency of breeding greatly. In this research,we using simple sequence repeats(SSR) technology to analyze the localization of percentage of grains with chalkiness Quantitative Trait Loci(Q TL) by constructing recombinant inbred lines(RIL) population derived from ‘Ewan10hao’ and ‘Daliwang’,and study the genetic basis of grain traits. Main results showed as follows: 1 、 The significant difference was observed in the six grain traits between ‘Ewan10hao’ and ‘Daliwang’. Except PGWC, the other traits were obvious one-way or two-way transgressive separation in two environments of F8 RIL. Normal distribution test showed that the GL,GW,GT,LWR,K GW were the significant or extremely significant normal distribution,and belonged to the typical quantitative character inheritance patterns. The PGWC was continuous distribution in RIL, and showed a significant skewness distribution,it was the quality- quantitative character inheritance patterns. 2、Correlation analysis results showed that GL with LWR,PGWC;GW with GT,KGW,PGWC;GT with KGW,PGWC;KGW with PGWC were significant or extremely significant positive correlation.GL with GW,GT,PGWC;LWR with GW,GT,KWG,PGWC were significant or extremely significant negative correlation. 3、Partial genetic map was constructed by SSR markers and BAS method.Using 25 molecular markers, five linkage groups were constructed that located in chromosome 2,4,7,9,12 respectively. 4、Using mixed- model based composite interval mapping method,five Q TL which control the PGWC were tested in two environments.The Q TL which located in the interval of RM208~RM7485 was tested in two environments,which showed that the QTL has good genetic stability. Because of the contribution rate was bigger, the Q TL can be use for precise positioning by adding markers or constructing nearly genetic line.
