Forest net primary productivity (NPP) and net biome productivity (NBP) is an important parameter on measuring the terrestrial carbon source/sink. More accurately estimating NPP and NBPof forest ecosystems has become particularly important. Our objective was to explore how to use remote sensing process model to simulate NPP and NBP of the northeast forest more accurately. In this study, based on remote sensing data, meteorological data and soil data. Boreal Ecosystem Productivity Simulator(BEPS) model was used to simulate NPP of the northeast forest in 2003;The result of BEPS model acted as the reference year data of Integrated Terrestrial Ecosystem C-budget (InTEC) model to simulate NPP and NBP from 1901 to 2013 of the northeast forest, driven by remotely-sensed vegetation types, forest age, leaf area index, climate and soil data. To analysed the result of NPP and NBP in temporal and spatial. The average value of NPP of the northeast forest was only 279 gC·m-2·a-1 in 1901. In the early years of the foundation of new China, average NPP had reached to 339 gC·m-2·a-1.The average NPP of the northeast forest in 2013 was 391 gC·m-2·a-1; Daxing’an Mountain, Xiaoxing’an Mountain and Changbai Mountain had a high increase in 2013, the highest was Changbai Mountain increased by 200 gC·m-2·a-1 to 300 gC·m-2·a-1 more than that in 1901.The average and total value of NPP of Liaoning was the lowest, but increased by 57 percent more than that in 1901.The average NBP of the northeast forest fluctuating range was relatively great. Before 1920, the average value of NBP of the northeast forest was about 20 gC·m-2·a-1. There were four years that the northeast forest was carbon source from 1920 to 1930. The average value of NBP reached to the top of 168 gC·m-2·a-1 in 1995. The average value of NBP was 160 gC·m-2·a-1 in 2013. In the early years of the foundation of new China, the NBP of the northeast forest overall was low, the north of Xiaoxing’an Mountain and the sourth of Changbai Mountain were carbon source. The northeast forest was a huge carbon sink in 2013. The total value of NBP of Heilongjiang increased at the highest, followed by Jilin, Liaoning was 3.6×1012 gC·a-1 at the lowest.
