| In this paper on the basis of Liuyang forest resource survey data in 2012, respectively,using the biomass conversion factor of continuous function and the volume of the method to estimate the Liuyang forest vegetation biomass, and studied the Liuyang forest vegetation carbon reserves and distribution of carbon density. Through the calculation of Liuyang carbon emissions in 2012, clear the Liuyang carbon sequestration of forest vegetation and carbon emission reduction of contribution and the economic value of carbon sequestration. The results showed that:(1)The amount of total biomass of forest vegetation in Liuyang in 2012 was 12006865.20t and the total carbon storage was 5980259.53t,for forest the carbon storage was 5898333.22t,rather than the non-forest was 81926.31t.The average biomass of forest vegetation was 41.59t/hm2and the average carbon density was 20.69t/hm2.(2)The carbon storage in Liuyang’s different area showed a trend,which increased from the central city to surrounding villages,especially the east to west,in the other hand,it showed significant negative correlation between people density and carbon density,namely the human activity will affected the carbon density correspond.(3)The carbon storage of forest vegetation was related to the using types of land,the carbon storage of forest was the most,accounted for 88.12%,of which arbor accounted for the largest share,79.59%.What’s more,the carbon storage was associated with forest types and age group,other broad-leaved forest had the biggest carbon storage,which accounted for 41.83%,poplar had the highest level carbon density,25.30t/hm2.In arbor,carbon storage mainly center on middle-aged forest and near-mature forest,the carbon density was increasing by the forest age.(4)The type of management and mode of origin affected the distribution of carbon storage.Timber forest distributed the most,occupied 57.05%.In the aspect of carbon density,special forest had the highest level,26.99t/hm2. Different forest origin affected the carbon accumulation,the artificial forest was bigger than the natural forest in area,but carbon storage and density were less than the natural forest,therefore we need to strengthen management of artificial forest.(5)The total carbon sequestration economical value was 114.45 billion,accounted 13.95% of the GDP of same period in Liuyang in 2012,this value mainly reflected in arbor.At present,the forest vegetation was mainly half-aged forest and near-mature forest,along with the passage of time,it will play a tremendous economic potential.(6)The total emission of CO2 in Liuyang in 2012 was 18039200t,12.56t per capita.In 2012 the forest vegetation in Liuyang absorbed CO2 421085.34t,which was equal to the 2.33% CO2 emission proportion of the same period,this showed that the forest vegetation had the function of offset effect,but from the reductive contribution rate,the effect was little. |
