Popular cattle piroplasmosis is a tick-borne blood protozoosis general term(formerly piroplasmosis) by Taylor insects and Babesia caused in our country(including my area) morbidity and harm the most serious Taylor cattle ring worm(Theileria annulata), OIE listed it as a Class B diseases. After mostly acute, with fever, anemia, bleeding, weight loss and swollen lymph nodes surface is characterized by a high mortality rate in acute cases; prevalent in our northwest, north and northeast of some provinces, autonomous regions, widely popular in my area, its infection rates of up to 60 percent, a serious threat to the healthy development of breeding cattle industry. So the media to understand the advantages of the disease(tick species) and epidemic situations is very important. The test randomly collected cattle parts of the body surface Turpan Prefecture grazing area Tuokexun collected ticks(N = 547 rats), according to the characteristic shape of ticks(false head, shield plate, valve plate, foot, from, etc.) these ticks were photographed and identified ultrastructure, which edge glass eye ticks 517, pitting glass eye tick 30 tick species common in the region, the residual margin advantage glass eye tick tick species in the region.Using the general method of pathologic examination(blood smears) and PCR diagnostic methods, in some areas Toksun County suspected cattle blood samples were collected randomly(n = 50), the use of pathogen detection methods and PCR detection methods for diagnosis. In the acquisition of 50 parts suspected cattle blood, the blood smear showed cattle ring theileriosis infection rate was 30%(15/50), and PCR-positive diagnosis was 40%(20 of 50); positive rate consistent with animal inoculation experiments(rabbit) results(34% and 40%). The survey found that the incidence of the disease in the Turpan region began the season as the incidence in the annual March 4 to May reached a peak, and 3 to May every year in the area of active ticks, in early July after reducing ticks activities, this disease subsided.
