Panax notoginseng (Panax notoginseng (BurK.) F.H.C hen]) is a kind of rare herb with huge officinal and economic value which belongs to Araliaceae ginseng species and is used for activating blood, decreasing swelling and alleviating pain. At present, as the planting area gradually rising, the harvest of Panax notoginseng in planting regions is adopting manual or half mechanization operation basically. Yet harvest machinery of Panax notoginseng hasn’t been popularized and applied inland which is mostly in the stage of research and design. The mechanization of Panax notoginseng harvest will improve harvest efficiency obviously, lower farmers’labor strength and reduce efficiency loss which will found a good basis of industrialization development.This paper conducts research about Panax notoginseng harvest pattern and ensures rational process route of the harvest. In order to lay the foundation of development in recovery system, we collect the information of field landscape and fundamental physical property; acquire basic data about related soil and root of Panax notoginseng. Using TRIZ innovation theory, we have studied basic composition, key technology and function model of recovery system of Panax notoginseng root. We have forecast the major structural type of this system and ensured the excavating "object-field mode" which has reduced conflicts among institutions.This paper will indicate scientific direction of research and development innovation, Through the establishment of Panax notoginseng sliding cut kinetic model to determine the theoretical optimum slip Cutaway, and get the back of each parameter according to the machine’s digging with shovels and related data; as well as will establish mechanical model of principal organs and achieve the critical situations of the Panax notoginseng root’s transport and throbbing.Using CATIA, we have established 3D entity model of each key part of harvest system. In the process of complete machine assembling, we have conducted interference examining while have also carried out movement simulation and modal analysis which will show the direction of entity mechanical model in Panax notoginseng harvest system.
