Turpentine is an important industrial raw materials. With the deepening of reform and opening up, the demand of resin is increasing both in our country and abroad, the requirements for resin and turpentine are getting higher in many departments. Pinus yunnanensis is an important species in Southwest China of most pine trees whch product resin. This article studied on different resin yield pinus yunnanensis sampled in Daganting management and protection point and Wujinyin management and protection point in Taihejiang forest farm and forest farm in Liuku. We investigated the morphological characteristics and anatomical characteristics of different resin yield pinus yunnanensis, including the morphological characteristics of coniferous, phloem, echinacea and anatomical characteristics of coniferous, phloem, xylem. The difference of the morphological characteristics and anatomical characteristics betwwen different resin yield pinus yunnanensis is compared to provide a theoretical support and effective method to the early selection and directed cultivation of high resin yield pinus yunnanensis, serving for the cultivation of high resin yield pinus yunnanensis. Thus achieving the purpose of increasing the economic benefits of the resin producting foresty of pinus yunnanensis. The results showed that:(1): The morphological characteristics of coniferous, phloem, echinacea betwwen high and and low resn yield pinus yunnanensis from three sampling ground showed no significant differences, in other words, there is no significant differences in coniferous length, sheath length, coniferous thickness, phloem thickness, chinacea weight betwwen high and and low resn yield pinus yunnanensis, so the resin productivity of pinus yunnanensis had no significant relationship.(2): The resin canal area in coniferou, coniferous cross-sectional area, resin ducts area as a percentage of coniferous area, the resin canal size in phloem, the number of resin ducts per unit length in phloem, the resin canal size in xylem, the resin canal density in xylem of different resin yield pinus yunnanensis from three sampling ground showed no significant differences, but the number of resin ducts in coniferous, xylem and phloem and the resin canal size in phloem of high resin yield pinus yunnanensis is much higher than low resin yield pinus yunnanensis(P<0.05). The number of resin ducts in coniferous of high resin yield pinus yunnanensis(the average of three sampling ground was 7.86) is 51.76% higher than low resin yield pinus yunnanensis(the average of three sampling ground was 5.13), The number of channels per unit length in phloem of high resin yield pinus yunnanensis(the average of three sampling ground was 4.88)is 41.27% higher than low resin yield pinus yunnanensis(the average of three sampling ground was 3.50), the resin canal area in phloem of high resin yield pinus yunnanensis(the average of three sampling ground was 1211μm2)is 53.34% higher than low resin yield pinus yunnanensis(the average of three sampling ground was 787μm2), the resin canal density in xylem of high resin yield pinus yunnanensis(the average of three sampling ground was 0.41)is 73.22% higher than low resin yield pinus yunnanensis.(the average of three sampling ground was 0.20) So the the resin productivity of pinus yunnanensis had significant relationship with the number of resin duct in coniferous, phloem, xylem and area of resin duct in phloem.
