Forest of northern China is a major part of the forest distribution, which is the highest dimension of our country, the coldest weather, frost shortest virgin forest distribution area affected by the extreme weather most obvious, as the key part of the global forest ecosystem. Therefore, it is also considered as our northern important ecological barrier. Therefore, in recent years, the investigation on the relationship between the forest biomass and carbon storage of main tree species in northern Greater Xing’an Mountains and climate change has been attached much more importance to.In this paper, we take the forest of northern forest Mohe Several principal forest types as the object of investigation, on basis of field sampling, sample collection and weighing method, average method, ANOVA analysis and so on, focusing on the major species in the region the distribution of biomass and carbon stocks. Research that biomass forest of northern main tree species, size and carbon stocks a variety of factors, the main conclusions are as follows:1) Different forest types, forest of northern main species biomass and carbon stocks in general different, where the edge species in different forest types plays a crucial role in the constraints. Tree biomass and carbon stocks in trees with DBH growth increases, different tree species biomass and carbon stocks with increasing magnitude of different diameter. Biomass is closely related to the size of carbon stocks and forest age, soil type and thickness, slope, aspect, elevation and other habitat conditions.2) Forest of northern main tree species in the average level of biomass and carbon stocks largest Mohe Ledum birch forest, respectively 643.654t/hm2 and 321.827 t/hm2, the minimum in the tower head Carex deciduous Larix pine, average biomass and carbon stocks are 43.218t/hm2 and 21.6091/hm2.3) Through analysis of variance can be learned, tree layer biomass and carbon stocks, shrub species biomass and carbon stocks and total biomass and carbon stocks among the major forest types Mohe differences were most significant of all. Among each forest type of Alongshan,between the Xingan Larch and birch and birch sheep beard carex Xingan forest averge biomass of arbor specides.shrub biomass and total bionmass had no significant difference. There is also a similar cinclusionbetween each forest type Alongshan of tree layer,shrub layer,the average carbon storage and the average total carbon storage.
