Abstract/Summary:
The study was conducted to explore the fermented soybean meal(FSBM) and Lactobacillus acidophilus cultures regulation of piglet intestinal morphology structure and digestive enzyme activity and biochemical indexes. The results would provide a theoretical basis for the applications of FSBM in the piglet feed.Experiment I: The effect of FSBM and Lactobacillus acidophilus cultures on the intestinal morphology structure of the weaned pigletsA total of 48 piglets weaned at 21 days of age and with the similar genetic background were randomly allotted to 4 treatments with 3 replicates pertreatment and 4 piglets per replicate using a randomized complete-block design. The controled piglets were fed basic diet with a type of corn and soybean meal, experiment group I piglets were fed milk powder diet(provided by a company), experiment group II piglets were fed the diet of 10.0% FSBM instead of the ordinary soybean meal,experiment group III piglets were fed the diet is based on the experiment group II instead of 3.0% lactobacillus acidophilus cultures of the original material.The experiment lasted for 21 days.At the 7th day, 14 th day and 21 st day, one piglet were slaughtered randomly selected from each repeating group. Acquisition samples as follows: duodenum, jejunum and each paragraph of ileum, the were applied to the determination of paragraphs of small intestinal villus morphology.The results showed as follows:; 1)There were significant differences in increased intestinal villus height, crypt depth lowered and inctresed the V/C(P < 0.05).2)There were significant differences in increased jejunum and ileum villus height, crypt depth lowered and increaseded the V/C with piglets fed the based on 10.0% FSBM diet instead of 3.0% lactobacillus acidophilus cultures(P < 0.05). 3)Transmission electron microscopy found that jejunum microvillus of the control group was thin, short and misaligned; experiment group was longer, trim and crowded together, especially for the group of add lactobacillus acidophilus cultures.Comprehensive indicators: FSBM can promote weaned piglets growth and improve the structure of piglets jejunum microvillus; and can reduced stress of lactaid fell sharply caused by weaned stress, and the each index is better with piglets fed the based on 10.0% FSBM diet instead of 3.0% lactobacillus acidophilus cultures; and its effect after replacement and the effect of the milk powder diet.Experiment II: The effect of FSBM and Lactobacillus acidophilus cultures on the digestive enzyme activity of the weaned pigletsA total of 48 piglets weaned at 21 days of age and with the similar genetic background were randomly allotted to 4 treatments with 3 replicates pertreatment and 4 piglets per replicate using a randomized complete-block design. At the 7th day, 14 th day and 21 st day, one piglet were slaughtered randomly selected from each repeating group.And collect piglets jejunum mucosa samples to determined disaccharide enzymes(sucrase, lactase and maltase), Na+/K+-ATPase and Ca+/Mg+-ATPase activity.The results show that: 1)There were significant differences in increased disaccharide enzyme activity(sucrase,lactaid and maltase)(P < 0.05). 2)There were no significant differences in disaccharide enzyme activity of jejunum with piglets fed the based on 10.0% FSBM diet instead of 3.0% lactobacillus acidophilus cultures(P > 0.05), but the disaccharide enzyme activity increased; the Na+/K+-ATPase activity was significantly increased(P < 0.05), also howed Ca+/Mg+-ATPase activity was no significantly difference(P> 0.05).Comprehensive indicators: FSBM can reduced stress of lactaid fell sharply caused by weaned stress, the activity of sucrase and maltas were increased. Piglet jejunum disaccharide enzyme activity can be improve with lactobacillus acidophilus in some extent.Experiment III: The effect of FSBM and Lactobacillus acidophilus cultures on blood biochemical index of the weaned pigletsA total of 48 piglets weaned at 21 days of age and with the similar genetic background were randomly allotted to 4 treatments with 3 replicates pertreatment and 4 piglets per replicate using a randomized complete-block design. The controled piglets were fed basic diet with a type of corn and soybean meal, experiment group I piglets were fed milk powder diet(provided by a company), experiment group II piglets were fed the diet of 10.0% FSBM instead of the ordinary soybean meal,experiment group III piglets were fed the diet is based on the experiment group II instead of 3.0% lactobacillus acidophilus cultures of the original material.The experiment lasted for 21 days. At the 7th day, 14 th day and 21 st day, two piglets were vacuum blood collection and separate serum randomly selected from each repeating group. Determination of the concentration of blood routine index represents the protein metabolism(serum total protein, albumin, urea nitrogen, cholesterol, and alkaline phosphatase),and the Ig A, Ig G, Ig M concentration of serum.The results show that:1)There were no significant differences in serum total protein, albumin, urea nitrogen, cholesterol, and alkaline phosphatase with piglets fed the FSBM diet or lactobacillus acidophilus cultures(P > 0.05). 2) There were significant differences in increase in serum Ig A, Ig G levels with piglets fed the FSBM diet(P < 0.05); 3) There were no significant differences in serum Ig A, Ig G levels with piglets fed the based on FSBM diet instead of lactobacillus acidophilus cultures(P> 0.05):4) There were no significant differences in serum Ig M levels with piglets fed the FSBM diet or lactobacillus acidophilus cultures(P > 0.05).Results indicate that humoral immune function can be improve with FSBM in some extent.
