Effects Of "Jujube Protection No.1" On Suppression Of ’huping’ Jujube Disease And Demonstration Expansion

Jujube is China’s unique economic forest, which an important pillar industry for Shanxi province rural economic development and poverty alleviation. In recent years, Shanxi central and southern region changed the jujube cultivation patterns, which led to the traditional pest control measures did not form a complete set, jujube diseases have been serious broken out, jujube famer suffered heavy losses, many famer cut down their jujube trees, and they lose the confidence of jujube industry. Shanxi Agricultural University jujube pest and prevention control group developed jujube prevention comprehensive agent--"Jujube Protection NO.1" based on many years control and prevention jujube diseases, which showed a good control effect on initial application. In order to prove "Jujube Protection NO.1" had a good effect in fields, and enabled it to benefit more farmers, the study of the effect of "Jujube Protection NO.1" to control jujube diseases and the action to improve the quality of jujube, and the demonstration expansion of "Jujube Protection NO.1" were conducted from 2012 to 2013 in Xiaobai town in Taigu. The main results were as follows:1. Spraying "Jujube Protection No.1" could significantly reduce the incidence of black top disease, fruit shrink disease and cracking disease. The average control effects of black top disease, fruit shrink disease and cracking disease were 74.49±1.16%, 76.40±11.48% and 67.07±7.95%.2. Spraying "Jujube Protection No.1" could significantly improve Vc content, hardness, ediblerate content, total sugar content, the quality of jujube increased obviously.3. "Jujube Protection NO.1" demonstration expansion explained that the mode of "Company+Farmers+Cooperative " as the main way of demonstration expansion could improved the effect of demonstration expansion by established the close relationship between the company and cooperative and the majority of farmers. Many promotion measures were used in this demonstration expansion, including propaganda, science training, material inputs, technical inputs, pesticides, subsidies and so on, which made "Jujube Protection NO.1" demonstration successfully in the study area.
