| Currently, fossil resource scarcity and environmental pollution are twoincreasingly prominent problems, and people are now eager to find a clean andsustainable resources in order to alleviate the pressure of the social and economicdevelopment. we are rich in resources of corn stalks, but we are not taking advantage ofit in effective ways.Straw burning has caused serious environmental pollution eachyear, therefore, it has important scientific value on the development and utilization ofcorn stalks.Corn stover contains leaves, crusty and innermost flesh, we can respectively use itby separateing and crushing each part. leaves and flesh are quite soft and nutritious thatcan be used directly on feeding for cattle and sheep. The crusty is hard,but rich incellulose, lignin, hemicellulose, therefore it can be used as raw materials to producechemicals. In this paper, we take a series of steps that respectively hydrolysis,extraction, to separate hemicellulose, lignin and cellulose, which can provide rawmaterials to deep processing and utilization of raw skin,and to achieve the purpose ofcorn stalks comprehensive utilization.Through the experiment, we get the optimum reaction conditions of separatingand extracting each component:(1) We study the hemicellulose hydrolysis under the condition of sulfuric acid ascatalyst and get the optimum conditions: the hydrolysis time is4h, The concentrationof sulfuric acid is2%(v/v),and the liquid ratio is1:20(g/v).The xylose yield is21.88%,and the rate of hydrolysis of straw skin is47.18%.(2) We get the optimum conditions of extracting lignin: the reaction temperature is100℃,the reaction time is3hours, the concentration of sodium hydroxide is50g/L,and the solid-liquid ratio is1:15. Under such conditions, lignin extraction yield is28.2%.(3) And we also get the optimum conditions of cellulose hydrolysis: the reactiontime is110min,the reaction temperature is200℃, the concentration of sulfuric acid is0.8%, and the solid-liquid ratio is1:10. Under such conditions, the glucose yield is13.85%, cellulose hydrolysis rate of24.43%.The xylose which is got by hemicellulose hydrolysis can be used to prepare thefurfural; lignin can be used to produce adhesives; and the glucose can be furtherhydrolyzed into ethanol, which can be used as cellulosic ethanol fuel for vehicles. the remaining cellulose can be used as the raw materials of preparing nanocrystallinecellulose (NCC). |
