In recently years, because of the Yumin County climate warming, uneven distribution ofprecipitation, especially large increase in population caused by the excessive use of local grass, thelocal mountain meadow steppe appeared the serious degradation and desertification phenomenon, lead to the grassland area is decreasing, the production ability to drop, intensified the contradictionbetween man and nature. This test set up three different grazing ways, namely: rotational grazing, free grazing and no grazing, by means of scientific monitoring, depth exploration different grazingways effects of mountain meadow steppe revegetation and regrowth, demonstrate the rationalityand feasibility of different grazing ways, in order to formulate the line with the actual productiongrazing ways scientifically, as to reducing waste of money, to protect the mountain meadow steppeand increase production to achieve. The experimental results show that:1. Different grazing ways effects of the stock on hand of edible grass and hayed-fresh rate ofabove-ground biomass present a irregular inverted “V” type curve model, the overall trend is:“slow growth (May)-fast decrease (June-July)-slow decrease (August)”. Through different waysof using the grazing, stock on hand of edible grass compared with before grazing has beenincreasing, it’s showed rotational grazing will help improve the ground edible forage biomass.2. Through four years of grazing experiments, from the overall, at the beginning of thegrazing, three kinds of communities use patterns compared to the average height difference wasnot significant (P>0.05), through different ways of using, the average height of rotational grazingand control plot significantly higher than that free grazing (P﹤0.05); the cover of dynamic ofmountain meadow steppe in different grazing ways rendering an irregular “N” type curve, thecover of grassland communities in three grazing ways has been falling, the density of grasslandcommunities in rotational grazing and free grazing, its variation is: slow growth (grazing early)-fast growth (grazing interim)-slow decrease (grazing late).3. Along with the grazing, average of crude protein in Gramineae and Cyperaceae has beenfalling, it means grazing can reduce the crude protein content of forage grass; different grazingways effects of the average of crude protein performance inconsistent year to year, the change ofcrude fat of mountain meadow steppe are less affected by grazing ways; rotational grazing are notimprove the crude fiber of Gramineae and Cyperaceae, instead, free grazing and no grazing willsignificantly improve the crude fiber of Gramineae and Cyperaceae; free grazing and no grazingfor Cyperaceae crude fiber has no significant effect, different grazing ways has no significanteffect on crude ash of Gramineae, Cyperaceae and Weeds.
