To understand community structure of the litter invertebrates in the forests ofJilin Province,investigation of litter invertebrates was carried out in the forest ofChangbai Mountain National Nature Reserve,Zuojia Nature Reserve,Quanyang ForestPark and other Nature Reserves in Jilin Province, with a total of17427invertebrateindividuals collected,belonging to17orders in6classes under3phyla. Results showthat Collembola and Acarina belong to the dominant groups, which accounting for83.48%of the total individuals collected; Lepidoptera larvae, Araneae, Coleoptera,Diptera, Hymenoptera, Lithobiomorpha and Diplura were the common groups, whichaccounting for14.97%of the total individuals collected; Oligochaeta, Hemiptera,Diplopoda, Gastropoda, Pseudoscorpionida, Thysanoptera, Dermaptera and Proturawere the rare groups, which accounting for1.55%of the total individuals collected. Inthe forest of Jilin Province, the litter invertebrate communities’ Shannon-Wienerdiversity index is1.37, Simpson dominance index is0.36,Pielou eveness index is0.48, Margalef species richness index is1.63.
