In order to improve the performance of the pneumatic grasshopper trapper, corresponding unites such as the source of power and discharge device were further designed and improved, those are based on the type of 3CHX18 Pneumatic grasshopper trapper which has some problems existing by research and using the machine. One is the poorly operating performance, the other is the inconvenient in unloading. The centrifugal ventilator was used to be powered by tractor power take-off. Now using diesel engine to drive ventilator straightly as a new type of independent power system. And using related theory, the discharge port has been improved to be a structure of spiral output discharge.Firstly, the overall structure of power system and discharging device were designed in this study. The power system is made up of diesel engine, V-belt, centrifugal flywheel clutch, starting system and etc. The discharging device consists of casing, screw blade, inlet and outlet and etc. Furthermore, with some theories, the improved machine, by contrast, has greatly improved in turning performance and the power of tractor than the original one. The transmission efficiency and maneuverability have been improved. What’s more, the 3D model was built by SolidWorks software, and the simulation of gas flow field in the settlement with unloading device after using Flow Simulation module, the analysis results showed that in the range working of fan, although it have a small part of volume loss when discharging device is installed, it can still achieve suction head of suction at the target speed and the disturbance airflow did not achieved the suspension speed of locust. Finally, experiments proved that this prototype was able to work safely and reliably, the speed of suck-head can achieve the target speed, the discharging device can convey materials continuously and stably, and the overall performance of this machine was greatly enhanced. |
