Endophytic fungi can accelerate the growth of hosts, improve the biomass accumulation and plant survival rate. Portulaca oteracea were chosen as material and endophytic fungi were isolated from it, and the effects of the isolated endophytic fungi on growth of the host were investigated. The results are as follows:l.Ten strains of endophytic fungi were isolated from the healthy tissues of P. oteracea, among them, fore strains were from the root, three strains from leaves, and three strains from the stem.2.The isolated endophytic fungi were identified by morphology combined with molecular biology technique. The results showed that they belong to Epicoccum sp.G, Fusarium sp.H, Penicillium sp.I, Chaetomium sp.J, Penicillium sp.K, Penicillium sp.L, Penicillium sp.M, Penicillium sp.N, Petriella sp.O and Penicillium sp.P.3. The influence of the fermented liquid from the isolated endophytic fungi on seed germination of P. oteracea were studied. It showed that strains Fusarium sp.H, Chaetomium sp.J and Penicillium sp.M had better growth-promoting effect on root length compared with the control group after 48h, while strains Penicillium sp.P and Epicoccum sp.G inhibited the root growth.4.The impact of fermentation broth of endophytic fungi on host plantlet growth was also analyzed in our study. The results suggested that strains Penicillium sp.I and Penicillium sp.M had promoting effect on seedling fresh weight, chlorophyll content, and branch number. On the contrary, strains Penicillium sp.P and Penicillium sp.L have emarkable inhibitory effect on the late growth after treatment. |
