The Chinese government has paid more and more attention to the frequent food safety problems in recent years as well as strengthened the relevant control measures, including dealing with the related accidents seriously, and more important introducing the new technology to ensure the safety from from farm to fork. The establishment and promotion of agricultural IoT is an effective way. It has wide coverage and low cost and can monitor agricultural production and processing without people to protect the safety and quality.In the interaction between agriculture and the environment, the environment is the leading factor and have a great impact on production, quality. Traditional agriculture mainly rely on manual methods and cost a lot of manpower, material and time.Comprehensive agriculture information sensing technology is to observe physical and chemical parameters through physical and chemical technologies, which provides reliable and timely data source for key decisions of agricultural production. Agro-meteorological information auto-collection based on sensors and embedded technology is a necessary means of modern agriculture. It covers all aspects of agro-meteorological information and it’s not subject to geographical restrictions. Compared to traditional agro-meteorological, auto-collection has unparalleled advantages in timeliness and automation.This paper designed and developed an integrated agro-meteorological information processing system which can monitor and control the agriculture infromation station remotely. It consists of three parts:IntelliSense controller, data processing service program and WEB service program. Users can get real-time agriculture infromation and control of the sensor remotely through the WEB interface.In addition, this paper presented a general model of communication and control in agricultural IoT-C/S/S (Client/Server/Sensor) models, based on which the system above was designed.In the design of IntelliSense controller, this paper used a low-power, reconfigurable CPU platform-FC3180. This platform has hardware optimization for embedded JAVA. In recent years, JAVA is playing a more and more important role in embedded field because of its unique advantages. Most embedded JAVA platforms are based on JAVA ME. In order to solve the problem of execution speed of embedded JAVA, the manufacturers have provided a variety of optimization, including JAVA compiler optimization in software and designing JAVA processor in hardware.In this paper, JAVA execution speed of the FC3180 platform (called CYMSYS) was tested and relevant conclusions of the viability of embedded JAVA were given.
