| Variation of main Ornamental characters of Camellia chekiangoleosa Hu. in Plain Area were studied.The results showed that there were differences in tree body types,vegetative traits,floweri phenology,floral organ characters,fruit characters of C. chekiangoleosa Hu. between different clones.(1) All the morphological characteristics of clone are significant difference,the C. Chekiangoleosa Hu. was in natural growth condition in the resources nursey.They were shrubs with broadly ovate,ovate,globose or oblate tree structure,beautiful tree can be solitary plant, bulk plant, clump planting, group planting forming the main scene, by doing embellished,it can also be arranged in flower borderand yellow, green, dark green leaf which is in ovate, elliptic,oblong shapes,leaves such as jasper,very beautiful.The flower organ pattern which is on top of branchlets or axillary of C. Chekiangoleosa Hu. is single type,the flower type was middle and fragrance-free with sunken 1-2 crack of pour heart petals.They have light red, red, deep red flower colour,the colors were beautiful,Light red gives freshness, red and crimson to bring people warm, warm, festive, add color, active holiday atmosphere, C. Chekiangoleosa Hu. is a good ornamental trees.(2)Tree body types of C. chekiangoleosa Hu. had great differences among different clones.The greatest variations totality were ground diameter(CV was 11.53 percent),followed by crown diameter(CV was 9.82 percent)and tree height(CV was 9.48 percent),the least variations was index of the crown(CV was 7.18 percent).Index of the crown was minimal,tree growing form of clones were stable.The average height was 127.59cm,the range was 71.67~189.63cm,the largest average tree height was the clone hy28(the average tree height was 172.15cm);The average crown diameter was 114.78cm,the range was 79.25~171.58cm,the largest average crown diameter was the clone dy130(the average crown diameter was 153.72cm);The average ground diameter was 45.72mm,the range was 29.28-63.25mm,the largest average ground diameter was the clone dy130(the average ground diameter was 54.11mm).The average index of the crown was 0.98,the range was 0.71~1.28,the largest average index of the crown was the clone ny1(the average index of the crown was 1.28).Integrated tree height, crown, diameter three indicators among C. Chekiangoleosa Hu. clones, clones dy130,and hy28 were significantly higher than other the tested clones, growing plump, growth significantly faster.(3) Shoot and leaf characters of C. chekiangoleosa Hu. had great differences among different clones.The coefficient variation of leaves characters between clones followed to the regularity of shoot length(CV was 13.16 percent)> the leaves distance of shoot(CV was 10.50 percent)> leaves number of shoot(CV was 6.62 percent),the biggest fluctuation was shoot length.The coefficient variation of leaf characters between clones followed to petiole length(CV was 8.82 percent)>leaf width(CV was 8.49 percent)>leaf length(CV was 6.31 percent)>leaf length/width(CV was 5.22 percent).The average shoot length was 9.90cm,the range was 7.67~11.87cm,the largest average shoot length was the clone hy63(the average shoot length was 11.87cm);The average leaves number of shoot was 3.85,the range was 2-7,the largest average leaves number was the clone hy17(the average leaves number was 4.68);The average leaves distance of shoot was 2.41cm,the range was 1.68~3.04cm,the largest average leaves distance of shoot was the clone hy179(the average leaves distance of shoot was 3.04cm).The average leaf length was 84.68mm,the range was 65.07~98.78 mm,the largest average leaf length was the clone dy130(the average leaf length was 98.78mm);The average leaf width was 44.77mm,the range was 34.96mm~56.19mm,the largest average leaf width was the clone dy130(the average leaf width was 56.19mm);The average petiole length was 11.59mm,the range was8.11mm~15.10mm the largest average petiole length was the clone dy130(the average petiole length was 15.10mm);The average leaf length/width was 1.92,the range was 1.62-2.56,the largest average leaf length/width was the clone ny2(the average leaf length/width was 2.56).Comprehensive vegetative organs shoot length and leaf traits among C. Chekiangoleosa Hu. Clones, dy46, dy130, hy4, hy62, hy179 were growing plump, and beautiful leaf, green leaf color..(4)Flowering phenology of the clone C. chekiangoleosa in the low altitude area began in late January,and ended in late April,flowering up to 62.5d,flowering phenology relatively concentrated,but flowering vulnerable to climate.The flowering phenology of the clone C. chekiangoleosa had significant differences,the earliest clone was dyl44,the latest was hy31;The longest of flowering duration were hy54,hy179,the mean were 53.5 days;the shortest was hy58,the mean were 26.5 days.The coefficient variation of the first flower opening time> the coefficient variation of the first flowering> the coefficient variation of the full flowering> the coefficient variation of the final flowering.The first flowering,the full flowering,the final flowering average duration of single plant of clones respectively were 6.0~7.0d,4.9~6.0d,22.5~25.4d.the final flowering average duration of single plant of clones were longer to the sum of the first flowering and the full flowering average duration.The first flowering,the full flowering,the final flowering average duration had great differences among different clones in different years.Comprehensive Clones flowering and flower quantity, clone dy156, hy8, hy28, hy31, hy43, hy47, hy59, hy63, hy54, hy71, hy179 had more quantity,and flowering focus, so we can initially be considered as ornamental varieties released.(5)Floral organ characters of C. chekiangoleosa Hu. had great differences among different clones.The greatest variations totality were flower diameter(CV was 6.02 percent),followed by flower height(CV was 6.00 percent)and the number of calyx(CV was 5.10 percent),next was stilus length(CV was 4.56 percent)and the number of petal(CV was 3.44 percent),the least variations was filament length(CV was 3.44 percent),flowers organ had small coefficient of variation.The average flower diameter was 73.17mm,the range was 21.00~152.00mm,the largest average flower diameter was the clone hy58(the average flower diameter was 106.69mm);The average flower height was 57.87mm,the range was 24.00~94.00mm,the largest average flower height was the clone dyl30(the average flower height was 68.53mm);The average number of petal was 6.43,the range was 4~,the largest average number of petal was the clone hy54(the average number of petal was 7.49mm);The average filament length was 31.06mm,the range was 18.56-45.53mm,the largest average filament length was the clone ny2(the average filament length was 38.92mm);The average number of calyx was 6.99,the range was 3~11,the largest average number of calyx was the clone hy28(the average number of calyx was 8.29mm);The average stilus length was 26.01mm,the range was 10.41~45.03mm,the largest average stilus length was the clone hy58(the average stilus length was 36.45mm).Comprehensive Clones flowering traits, clone hy8, hy179, hy55, hy54 flowers had small variationl traits and were stable and can be considered as the next important commercial varieties garden.(6)The mean fruits of the clone C. chekiangoleosa per plant ranges from 0 to 11.14, the largest amount was clones ny2, the average was 11.14, dy129, dy159, hy59, hy64, hy71 result the least amount of zero mean, C. Chekiangoleosa had small amount of fruit varieties.Fruit characters,of C. chekiangoleosa Hu. had varying degree differences among different clonesl.fruit width(CV was 5.03 percent)>fruit height(CVwas 4.75 percent) >fruit shape index(CV was 3.39 percent).The range of fruit height,fruit width,ffruit shape index were,23.30-54.56m m,24.33~69.81mm,0.65-1.61(7)Integrated Tree body types shoot traits, leaf traits, flowering phenology, floral organ traitsrthe tree of Clone hy28, hy54, hy179 were beautiful, fast growth, flowering focus, and had the more amount of flowers,Clone hy28, hy54, hy179 could be considered as a future focus on the promotion landscaping variety. |
