Based on the national fruit germplasm Vitis amurensis Rupr. nursery platform, one-year-old branches of 39 germplasm resources of V. amurensis, 2 V. amuensis-European hybrids(Zuo You-hong, Bei Bing-hong) and 1 hybrid(Beta) of American Vitis as test materials, in this study we evaluated systematically the cold-resistance of V. amurensis, established the methd for evaluation of cold-resistance of V. amurensis and divided the cold-resistance of V. amurensis germplasm. And we also explored the relationship between cold-resistance and cultivation characteristics of germplasm resources of V. amurensis. The main results showed as follows:1. The best method about measuring REC was determined, it was that firstly branches were peeled, then R1 was tested after standing extraction 3 h or vacuum pumping 40 min, or vibrating extraction 1 h, and R2 was tested after standing extraction 8 h after boiling water bath. Besides, we found that among physiological and biochemical indexes about cold resistance of branch, the content of MDA and REC increased as the ‘S’ type curve as temperature decreased, the rest indexes changed as single peak curve as temperature decreased. And there were significant positive correlations between the content of MDA and REC, the content of proline and soluble sugar, the content of proline and soluble protein, the content of soluble sugar and soluble protein. However, all indexes were significantly correlated with its average subdinative level. The average subdinative level from subordinate function could be the comprehensive index for the comprehensive evaluation of cold resistance of germplasm resources of V. amurensis. Under low temperature treatments, the curves of average subdinative level could better identify the cold resistance of differet grape varieties. 2. According to average subdinative level, there were differences in cold resistance among tested germplasm resources of V. amurensis: 73099 belonged to the high resistance germplasm, and its average subdinative level was 0.71; There were 11 germplasms belonging resistance germplasm, whose average subdinative level were 0.50 ~ 0.67. There were 23 germplasms belonging middle resistance germplasm and only 3 germplasms belonging lower resistance germplasm. However, compared with V. amurensis, the 2 V. amuensis-European hybrids and 1 hybrid of American Vitis were more susceptible to the cold, its average subdinative level were 0.02 ~ 0.21. 3. The average subdinative levels of V. amurensis was significantly correlated with its semi-lethal temperatures, both whose identification results of cold resisitance were strongly consistent. Field germination rate was significantly positively correlated with average subdinative levels, but significantly negatively correlated with semi-lethal temperature of V. amurensis, therefore, Field germination rate could be one of intuitive indexes of cold resistance of V. amurensis.
