| Shaanxi Province is one of China’s major walnuts producing provinces, the walnut production in Shangluo city is ia large part of walnut production in Shaanxi Province, Shangluo city, because of its unique geographical location and climatic characteristics make it a suitable walnut growing region. In Shangluo’s walnut industry, Walnut pests and diseases have been the biggest problem restricting the development of the walnut industry in Shangluo region, it has been difficult to solve. we conducted surveys of occurrence of major diseases and pests, explored their occurrence regularity, provided reasonable preventive measures to apply to the production in the main walnut producing areas of Shangluo city.This study investigated the species of walnut pests and diseases in Shangluo city, harmful levels of major walnut pests and diseases, the spatial distribution of Gastrolina depressa(Baly) and Paleosepharia posticata Chen, by physical and chemical control,screened the effective method of prevengting the occurrence of Pseudaulacaspis pentagona Targioni-Tozzetti and Dothiorella gregaria Sacc. The results were summarized as follow: defined the main pest and disease species of walnut in Shangluo and the harmful levels of major pests and diseases, found out the occurrence of Dictyoplca japonica Moore, preliminarily obtained The spatial distribution of Dictyoplca japonica Moore and Paleosepharia posticata Chen, in the prevention of Pseudaulacaspis pentagona selected a simple and effective method of physical control, in the prevention of Dothiorella gregaria Sacc. screened out biological agents called wood tar.The results enriched the theoretical contents of integrated diseases and pests control for walnuts, and extended the control methods and strategies,it provided guidance and reference of preventing pests and diseases in Shangluo walnut production practice, it is very important for walnut industry development in Shaanxi Province. |
