| This study utlized theory and method of forest yield regulation into the planning and design of forest harvesting. Taking Chongyi County, Jiangxi Province as the case,on the base of for forest resource inventory data for management, this study explored to establish a forest harvesting programm-ing model, which reflects spatial adjacent relationships of subcompartments. The object of the model was minimizing the number of adjacent subcompartments cutted during the same period. The constraint conditions were adjustment of forest structure and limit of cutting age. Then formalize the model and data form after the model established.We designed solvers for the model with heuristicalgorithms,including Genetic Algorithm(GA),Particle Swarm Optimization(PSO), Tabu Search(TS),Hybrid Variable Neighborhood Search(HVNS). The solvers were done at MATLAB. Tests of the solvers were done, and their results were analyzed and discussed in order to confirm the solver(s) that works. The tests results showed that slovers with TS and HVNS worked well, and slover with HVNS reduced number of adjacent subcompartments cutted during the same period to 80. |
