This study in June 2013- June 2014, in shandong province Tai’an City agriculture science lab, choose Y25, HXJ, T6, XX, J23 as experimental material. the method of using field experiment and small tunnel to grow seedlings combining,test the different varieties of sweet potato sprouting ability differences, physiological causes and measures to do well organized system research. The main results were as follows:(1) Seedling emergence one after another:J23、Y25、HXJ、T6、XX. Seedling total weight and the total number, J23 is significantly higher than Y25 and HXJ 、 Y25 and HXJ significantly higher than T6 and XX.In the period to grow seedlings,use the same total weight of sweet potato tuber,because of the total tuber number and single potato weight are different in sweet potato varieties, number of root holes per weight and number of total root holes are significant differences.The thickness of the potato skin was different, the thinner of the potato skin the better sprouting ability.The starch content in sweet potato and germination showed significant positive correlation,especially the higher amylopectin content is conducive to the germination of buds.There is a relationship in the edible type sweet potato that germination with alpha 、 beta amylase activity was significantly positively related,especially the alpha amylase activity the higher the better germination,the relative activity of beta amylase was negatively correlated.When the seedling,sprouting ability good varieties of edible root GA content was significantly higher than that sprouting ability bad sweet potato varieties. Content of ABA in different varieties root tuber have significant difference but with sprouting ability have no obvious correlation.On the whole the better germination in root tuber of higher ZR content. IAA content in sprouting ability good edible varieties root was significantly lower than that in poor germination,indicating that low concentrations of IAA content promotes the sweet potato germination. The germination of good varieties ZR/IAA and GA/ABA values were higher than the poor, the high GA/ABA and ZR/IAA values were good for the germination.(2) Y25 and J23 planting time delayed the total weight of seedlings increased significantly,the highest total weight of sweet potato seedlings in July 12 th,both T6 and XX the total weight in July 12 th and July 1st planted similar was significantly higher than that in June 19 th, Y25 、 J23 and XX with planting time delayed the total number of seedlings increased significantly,the total number of sweet potato seedlings in July 12 th to the highest;T6 in July 1st and July 12 th the total number of sweet potato seedling planting similar and significantly higher than in June 19 th.The late planting period,the smaller the single potato weight,the more the total holes of root number,the more the total holes of root number per unit weight,the thinner the thickness of the potato skin,the more favor for the sprout,the best planting period between July 1st and July 12 th.When plant seedling,sweet potato roots content of starch and amylopectin in July 1st and July 12 th planting was significantly higher than that in June 19 th. In seedling, the sweet potato planting in July 1 and July 12,the root of alpha and beta amylase activity and alpha amylase activity was significantly higher than that of June 19, the effect of this and the cultivation period on the germination of sweet potato is same.GA and ZR in July 1st and July12 th planting of sweet potato roots tuber were significantly higher than that in June 19 th.ABA and IAA in July 1st and July 12 th in sweet potato planting seedlings root was significantly lower than that in June 19 th. In tuber GA/ABA value and ZR/IAA value the higher the better germination of sweet potato.When breeding,due to the change of planting period and in the roots of the GA and Zr content increased,decreased the content of ABA and IAA,GA / ABA value and ZR/IAA value becomes larger; alpha、beta amylase activity and alpha amylase activity enhanced;the improvement of starch and amylopectin content, thus improve sweet potato sprout.(3) Y25 as good germination variety, seedling total weight of sweet potato was the highest with 20mg/kg GA treatment,T6 as poor germination variety, seedling total weight of sweet potato was the highest with 10mg/kg GA treatment. Y25 as good germination variety,seedling total number of sweet potato was the highest with 20mg/kg GA treatment,T6 as poor germination variety,seedling total number of sweet potato was the highest with 5mg/kg and10mg/kg GA treatment.
