Using CPC4 annual peach(P. persica var. nectarine ‘Zhongyoutao4’)as test material,wild peach( P. persica) as root stock,with the method of set of basin flood,this experiment discussed the influence of different water environment and spraying different substances on the peach tree physiological characteristics.the result were as follows:1.Different water conditions had great influence on root conformation.The root length 、root area 、volume 、number of root tip、fractal dimension of treatment WL1(relative water content 20% to 40% of soil) and treatment WL4(relative water content 80% to 100% of soil)were lower than treatment WL2(relative water content 40% to 60% of soil) and treatment WL3(relative water content 60% to 80% of soil).Drought stress forced WL1 to decrease root activity, but increased leaf proline. Photosynthetic rate,transpiration rate and stomatal conductance increased with the increase of water content, the content of MDA increased at first and decreased at last as the change of time.2.W ith spraying SA in the water-logging stress of young peach trees, the root activity, the contents of the leaf proline, the activities of alcohol dehydrogenase of leaf and root, and leaf POD and CAT obviously increased in a short time. The photosynthetic characteristics increased by spraying SA. They increased the largest, but the content of leaf MDA obviously decreased with spraying SA in the first flooded day(L1). The flood-resistant ability had been increased, and the cell membrane of the root and leaf had been protected to stay away from the flooded damages,and the photosynthetic capacity and root activity were promoted and stable, with spraying SA when peach trees were in the condition of water-logging, and it was more obvious in the first day with water-logging by spraying SA.3. Spraying spd with water-logging condition significantly increased the contents of leaf proline, the leaf POD activity, the alcohol dehydrogenase activity of root and leaf and reduced the MDA content and water content in branch. Chitosan treatment significantlyincreased the contents of leaf proline, reduced MDA content and the alcohol dehydrogenase activity of root and leaf and water content of branch and leaf increased significantly. Spraying SSP reduced proline content, MDA content,ADH content in leaves and increased the water content in root. Spraying KH2PO4 reduced the relative water content of branch,increased the water content of leaf, and the effect on other physiological indexes was not obvious. Effect of spraying different substances on peach root activity was not obvious. Spraying different substances under the condition of the water-logging stress had effect on peach water content of different tissues and distribution in different degree, spraying spd, chitosan and SSP all had obvious effect on the alcohol dehydrogenase activity of root and leaf,but the adjustment mechanism might be different.Spraying 4 different substances could relieve the memberance peroxidation degree of water-logging peach leaf in different degree. The protective engyme vogor were increased,with spraying spd when peach trees were in the condition of water-logging, to stay away from the flooded damages.4.Flooding in peach tree decreased volatile substances,increased alcohol content, alcohols content in root and branch increased by 4.52%and 13.65% respectively,and the olefin material in the root increased;Flooding+SA treatment increased the species of volatile material,the content of aldehyde(mainly benzaldehyde) substance was higher than the flooding and normal treatment,and had a obvious increase,extremely in the branches and leaves, alcohols content had obvious decrease in root and branch, ester content change was not significant, the root of olefin material increased; Flooding+spermine treatment reduced volatile sustances, the content of aldehyde(mainly benzaldehyde) substance increased by 21.03% and 27.57% in the branches and leaves compared with WL0, alcohols content were decreased by1.98%,10.81%and 15.61% compared with WL0, ester content change was not significant, the olefin material in the root of increased.
