| Oxylipins or oxidized fatty acids are a group of molecules found to play a role in signaling in many different cell types. These fatty acid derivatives have ancient evolutionary origins as signaling molecules and are ideal candidates for inter-kingdom communication. This review discusses examples of the ability of organisms from different kingdoms to “listen†and respond to oxylipin signals during interactions. The interactions were found in the signaling between animals and plants, between animals and fungi, between animals and bacteria, between plants and fungi. This will aid in understanding these interactions, which often have implications in ecology, agriculture as well as human and animal health.Firstly, we have designed and successfully synthesized 14 kinds of oxylipins. Then bactericidal activity of these compounds was tested on three kinds of fungi include which are commonly found in infected citrus. Based on the results of anti-bacterial activity experiments, bacteriostatic experiments on fresh citrus was further carried out. Then, the sterilization mechanism of the synthesized compound was speculated. The concrete research content mainly included two parts. The synthesis of oxylipins: 14 kinds of oxylipins was synthesized in this topic. The condition of each reaction was optimized. Their structures were confirmed by FT-IR, 1H NMR, MS analysis. The bactericidal activity of oxylipins was tested by measuring the diameters of the bacteriostasis circles. Compound fitting equation and IC50 for each kind of fungi was calculated. The bactericidal mechanism and the reason of the difference bactericidal activity of different series compounds was analyzed. By stabbing experiment explored antisepsis effect of oxylipins compound in citrus. |
