2012 Northwest Agriculture and Forestry University Institute of Pesticides isolated a dihydrogen benzoxazole compound from one ctinomycetes strains broth, the compound had a strong bactericidal activity on Bacillus cereus, named Yanglingmycin. According to the relevant literature, benzoxazole compounds also had insecticidal and herbicidal activity. Therefore, the insecticidal and herbicidal biological activity of Yanglingmycin were studied, the results were as follows:( 1) Used the 3 age armyworm Mythimna separata, spider mites Tetranychus cinnbarinus and aphids Aphidoidea as test insects, adopted the drip method, slide dip method, leaves residues method, to study the insecticidal activity of Yanglingmycin. The results showed that: 1 mg/mL, Yanglingmycin showed no insecticidal activity on the 3 age armyworm, Yanglingmycin had certain insecticidal activity on the adult mites Tetranychus urticae Koch, mites Tetranychus urticae Koch, eggs Tetranychus urticae Koch, wheat binary aphid Schizaphis graminum, cabbage aphid Mustard aphid, bean long tube aphid Macrosiphum pisi, LC50 were respectively: 319.80、69.55、67.10、57.99、112.14 and 68.38 μg/mL.(2)Used wheat Triticum aestivumLinn, rapeseed Brassica Campestris L, cucumber Cucumis sativus Linn, rice Oryza sativa, barnyard grass Echinochloa crusgalli(L.)Beauv, redroot pigweed Amaranthus retroflexus L as test material, adopted dish inside bioassay, small cup method, stem and leaf spray, to study the herbicidal activity of Yanglingmycin. the results showed that: Yanglingmycin had certain inhibition effect on wheat, rape, cucumber, rice, barnyard grass, redroot pigweed seeds germination, also inhibited the growth of young roots and buds. The EC50 of Yanglingmycin on wheat, rape, cucumber, rice were: barnyard grass, redroot pigweed young bud growth inhibition were: 47.30、54.10、55.80、129.65、4.07、488.11、51.45 μg/mL; Foliage spray results showed that: Yanglingmycin had some control effects on wheat, green foxtail, barnyard grass, redroot pigweed seedling growth, but the control effects were all below 40%; indicated that Yanglingmycin have certain herbicidal activity.(3)Used wheat seeds as test material, added long-chain fatty acid in vitro, the results showed that: the fatty acid added wheat growing better than wheat less fatty acid, infered that Yanglingmycin may act on fatty acid synthesis system of wheat.(4)AFLP was used to study the roots of wheat seedlings genomic DNA damage effects of Yanglingmycin. The results showed that: different concentrations(400、200、100 μg/mL) treated wheat seedling roots 72 h, AFLP profiles of genomic DNA changed significantly, polymorphism increased, and existed a significant dose relationship with Yanglingmycin concentration, the result showed that Yanglingmycin could affect the stability of the genomic DNA of wheat radicle.
