| Under the background of global change, Ecological effects of human activities on global change generated widespread concern. Land use/cover change (LUCC) is the most important human activities, the most direct terms; regional soil erosion and ecological changes in the function of keeping the soil system is the world’s most significant change, one of the most profound impact of ecological problems. Therefore, the study of the relationship between LUCC and Soil Erosion in global change is becoming an important issue. Soil erosion leads to the accumulation of silt deposits on water infrastructure basin create pressure to increase its control and maintenance costs.Using ArcGIS10.0 and InVEST Sediment Retention Model, we analyzed the temporal and spatial characteristics of land use change, and simulated the change rule of soil erosion and soil conservation under different land use patterns in different period in order to explore the effect of land use and cover change on soil erosion and soil conservation from 2000 to 2010 in Danjiang River Basin. The result indicates:From 2005 to 2010 was the main period of land use type change during this time. Bare land reduced by a large percentages of 90.18 (831.06 hm2) and mainly transferring to water area. Farmland was greatly reduced by a large area of 5197.24 hm2(4.11%), mainly transferring to shrubs and towns. The action of grain for green project has began to show its effects. The reservation and recovery of wetland was particularly effective.During the last ten years, the status of serious soil erosion of this basin had a remarkable increasing tendency,whose coved mainly middle degree erosion to extremely intensity degree of erosion. The transition of plough to forest land, the substantially reduced of bare area and bare area to forest land were the primary causes for alleviating soil erosion. On the contrary, an adverse trend transition between plough to shrubs has,which was the mainly cause of intensification of soil erosion by the land use and cover change. The total actual soil conservation in the year of 2000 and 2010 was 6.19 X 108tã€9.20 × 108t, respectively. The soil conservation of ecosystem function is a result that impacted by all factors. Ensuring a certain area of forest land and a reasonable arrangement of the spatial distribution of grain for green project under the manual intervention is the prerequisite of preventing deterioration of large area soil erosion in Danjiang River Basin of Qinling Mountain. Meanwhile, the preservation of arable land should be paid attention. |
