Cymbidium(Cymbidium hybridum) is a hybrid variety of Orchidaceae plants,which is one of the important potted and cut flowers marketwelcomed by consumers,and has high ornamental value and considerable economic value. A Green flower varieties ’Days Memory’(Cymbidium. Plair ’Days Memory’) which is a scrubby type with short arrows scrubby type,and a red flower varieties ’Princess Nobuko’ (Cymbidium Royal Red ’Princess Nobuko’) which is a tall type high arrows with long arrows were selected as the experimental materials. The experiment focus on explore different control technologies and methods of floral quality of Cymbidium hybridum in northen region, combined with environmental conditions and specific requirements of production. Specific results are as follows:1. In the treatment of spraying plant growth regulators, while the concentration of BR was 0. 005mg/L,it had the most obvious effect on both ’Princess Nobuko’ and ’Days Memory’. In GA3 and IAA treatment,while concentration of GA3 was 400mg/Land IAA’s concentration was 100mg/L,they had the most significant effect on’Princess Nobuko’; while the concentration of GA3 was 200 mg/L and concentration of IAA was 100 mg/L it had the most significant effect on ’Days Memory’. While the concentration of IAA was 100mg/L,it had the most significant on both the ’Princess Nobuko’ and ’Days Memory’.2. In the treatment of plant growth regulator with coating method, the concentration of GA3 was 400mg/L, of IAA was 150mg/L, of BR was 0.005mg/L, each had the most significant promotion effect on comprehensive flowering quality.3. In addition to improve the flower quality, GA3 with coating method could significantly advance flowering of Cymbidium hybridum. When the concentration of GA3 was 400mg/L, the’Days Memory’was 17.92d earlier flowering than CK, and’Princess Nobuko’ was 14.76d early flowering than CK, which both had significant differences.4. In boron treatment,when root irrigation with boric acid alone,concentration of 3100mg/L was the most effective,whose height of flower stalk significantly increased by 6.04cm, flowers spacing significantly increased by 0.57cm, flower stem diameter significantly increased 2. 040mm. When boric acid and GA3 treated corporately,6200mg/L boric acid and 400 mg/L gibberellin had the most effective result, whose height of flower stalk was significantly increased by 10.77cm, flowers spacing significantly increased by 0.80cm,and flower stalk diameter increased significantly by 2.183mm.5. In boron treatment,when root irrigation with boric acid alone,the maximum dry weight of single flower arrow stem was 38.533g, while applied on the concentration of 6200mg/L, which was significant different from CK When boric acid and GA3 treated corporately, the maximum dry weight of single flower arrow stem applied on the concentration of boric acid 6200mg/L and gibberellin was 400mg/L, which was significant different from CK6. When using 100% light-shielding bags, bagging to large bell period was the most eminent treatment, which made the height of flower stalk significantly increased 12.49cm,the inflorescences ratio significantly increased by 0.0551. When using 85%-90% light-shielding bags, bagging to flowering periodcan made the height of flower stalk significantly increased by 13. 40cm,,the inflorescences ratio significantly increased by 0.0689. All the results were significantly different from CK.
