Strong antifungal actixity of Oxytropis ochrocephala ethanol extracts has been shown oncommon fungi in the preliminary experiments of early. In this study, under the guidance ofbiologically active tracking method for the ethanol extract of Oxytropis ochrocephala,isolation is in order to clear the active ingredients of Oxytropis ochrocephala ethanol extractson common fungi inhibitory activity, to Provide a theoretical basis for the rationaldevelopment and utilization of poisonous plants of Oxytropis ochrocephala. The results of thestudy are as follows:Under the guidance of biologically active tracking method, ethanol was the extractivesolvent, eleven compounds were isolated by repeated silica gel column chromatography (CC),sephadex LH-20CC, and MCI CC. Their structures were identified by various modernspectroscopic techniques. Three steroid compounds:3β-Hydroxy-5a,8a-epidioxyergosta-6,22-diene, β-sitosterol, as stigmast-5-en-3β-ol-7-one; Three long chain compounds:5-heneicosyl,3-Methoxyphenol, Icosyl p-Coumarate, δ-Tocopherol; Three ptero-carpancompounds:3-Hydroxy-4,9-dimethoxypterocarpan, Medicarpin,3-Hydroxy-8,9-dimethoxypterocarpan; Two triterpenes compounds: olean-12-ene-3β-ol, upeol.5-heneicosyl,3-Methoxyphenol, Icosyl p-Coumarate, δ-Tocopherol, Medicarpin, olean-12-ene-3β-ol wereisolated from Oxytropis ochrocephala for the first time.Botrytis cinerea, Rhizoctonia solani, Fusarium oxysporium, Alternaric solai andDrechslera SoFokiniana as the test fungi, activity of the isolated compounds which weretested. as a result,3-Hydroxy-4,9-dimethoxypterocarpan, Medicarpin,3-Hydroxy-8,9-dimethoxypterocarpan displayed a strong antifungal effective on test fungi.3-Hydroxy-4,9-dimethoxypterocarpan has the strongest antifungal effective on Botrytis cinerea, the EC50was10.42μg/mL.3-Hydroxy-8,9-dimethoxy pterocarpan has the stronger antifungal effective onFusarium oxysporium, the EC50was27.09μg/mL.3-Hydroxy-9-methoxypterocarpan has the stronger antifungal effective on Fusarium oxysporium, the EC50was31.13μg/mL. Therewere stronger antifungal effectivity of Oxytropis ochrocephala ethanol extracts, pterocarpanas the main active ingredients and have further development and application potential.
