The potato is an important food crop, which is widely grown in Ningxia, and has become one of theareas of special advantage industries.howerver, due to Ningxia is located in the northwest, where has smallannual rainfall and big evaporation, and cultivation method behind, yield and quality of potato is nothigh. Therefore, to determine a reasonable way of potato cultivation industry, providing a theoreticalreference, is important for potato planting in Ningxia. In this experiment, the8th Ji Zhang potato as testedcrop, using five factors and five levels quadratic regression orthogonal rotation, through pot experiment tostudy the ecological effects of water and fertilizer coupling and its physiological effects under differentwater and fertilizer processing conditions. Achieved the following main conclusions:(1) The effects of the order of each factor on potato plant height was: P(X4)>N(X3)>T (X1)>W(X2)>K(X5). The effects of the order of each factor on potato stem diameter was: P (X4)> N(X3)>T (X1)>W(X2)>K (X5). The effects of the order of each factor on potato chlorophyll was: W(X2)> N(X3)> P(X4)>T(X1). The mean dry matter of Leaf and tuber increased with level raised of W, T, K; Dry matterincreased with N and P increasing, while first increased then decreased with the amount of N and Pinceasing. Dry matter was most when the mid levels of N and P. it was high significantly correlated tochlorophyll content as to level of each factor. Interactive effect of TP, WK,and NK had a significant effecton plant height and stem diameter of potato. Interactive effect of WT and WN had a significant effect onchlorophyll of potato.(2) Looking at the moisture dynamic changes of the whole growth periods, water content wasincreased and then decreased alternately. To analyze the rate of water consumption, the water consumptionrate of treatment was CK>60mm>120mm. The effects of the order of each factor on potato WUEwas:W(X2)>T(X1)>P(X4)>N(X3)>K(X5); looking at single factor, the factors of T,K,P accorded the parabolaof diminishing returns. Interactive effect of WT, NT, KT and WN, had a significant positive effect. ButInteractive effect of PK had a negative effect.(3) The effects of the order of each factor on uptake of nitrogent was: N (X3)>W(X2)>P(X4)> K(X5).The effects of the order of each factor on uptake of phosphorus was: P (X4)>W(X2)>K(X5). The effects ofthe order of each factor on uptake of potassium was: W(X2)>K(X5)>N(X3).The all interaction effect onnitrogen uptake of potato is positive effect. The interaction effect of W and N on nitrogen uptake of potato was max,and NK was min. The interaction effects of WN and WP on phosphorus uptake of potato weresignificant. The interaction effects of WN and WK on potassium uptake of potato were significant.(4)In this experiment, using the method of frequency, the optimal irrigation scheme is irrigation water847.5-952.5m3/kg and Irrigation period0level, while the recommended N rate was211.875-238.125kg/hm2, the recommended P rate was182.475-195.525kg/hm2, and the recommended K rate was333.825-356.175kg/hm2.(5) The effects of the order of each factor on potato starch content was:K(X5)>T(X1)>N(X3)>W(X2).The effects of the order of each factor on potato sugar content was:T(X1)>P(X4)>N(X3)>W(X2). Interactiveeffects of TW, WN, WP and PK on potato starch content were significant at0.05level, and the interactionseffects of P and K was strongest. Interactive effects of TW, WN, WP and PK on potato sugar content weresignificant at0.05level.
